Description: T'bel and D'ale have a chat
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 2, day 4 of Turn 6
As little Fanth flew in to the Weyr bowl after her sweep, she did an
extra sharp turn, showing off. **Hey, give your boy a warning!**
T'bel could feel his stomach--his very empty stomach--do a flip with
her airial antics. **So who's the lucky boy we're showing ourselves
off to today?**
}:Torerath, he's watching us:{ The delicate little green landed with
as much grace as she possessed, curving her neck to the big brown.
The big brown crooned a welcome to the pretty little green when she
touched down nearby. Greens were so nice and agile. He enjoyed
watching them.
T'bel groaned and rolled his eyes to D'ale nearby. "She's a terrible
flirt, watch out"
He slid down her shoulder and unbuckled her straps. Throwing them
over his shoulder, he then let his tiny bronze flit settle on his
shoulder.
D'ale lifted a brow. "So's he," he chuckled "though there are a few he
enjoys more than others."
"Well, if he's as fine looking as he is, it'd be a shame for him not
to be a flirt." He indicated towards his green, who was obviously
enjoying Torerath's attentions.
"He has his moments," D'ale chuckled. "It distracts him from dumping
me in the lake. So I don't mind."
T'bel burst out laughing. "Has that actually ever happened?"
He chuckled himself "Oh yes, more than once. But he is subtle about
it. He makes sure my attention is turned on something else. Big
trickster."
T'bel thought he was going to loose his bowel, laughing. At least
Fanth never tried that trick on him. When he got his breath back, he
asked, "you ever get him back then?"
D'ale chuckled, "and just exactly how am I supposed to push the big
brown bully in the lake." just then a rolling bugle sounded from the
big dragon followed by a snort. "Yeah, yeah. You're always sorry...
afterword."
T'bel mocked whispered, "they never are," before eyeing the dinning
hall and asking, 'you up for a pint? I could eat a whole herdbeast, so
I could. Some company would be nice." Truth be told, he and his
weyrmate hadn't been getting along very well as of late. It'd be nice
to have the company of someone who didn't want to just yell and scowl
all the time.
"Sure!" he said. "I was just heading that way myself. I was waiting
for my son but he can find me inside just as well."
"Yeah, that's what the dragons are for..letting you communicate to your
kids where you are at all times," T'bel teased. "And also giving you
a bath when you least need it."
He chuckled and clapped T'bel on the shoulder. "Absolutely."
