**Gormth? What the shells are you doing?** Im're asked his blue.

}: What does it look like? I'm talking with Eniidith, :{ the young blue
replied.

** You mean flirting? **

}: Isn't that the same thing? :{

The blue's reply made the young bluerider blush all the way to his
orange-red hair. "Shards, what a terrible flirt you are," he didn't
realized he voiced it out loud. He knew who Eniidith's rider was and he
had to admit, the greenrider was handsome.

"Who, me?" R'sedel asked, turning around to face the speaker. He was
rather surprised to see a youngster there.

"Sorry, sir. I was actually speaking to my dragon. He's with your
green," Im're's blush deepened.

"Oh, well it would have fit me too." The greenrider looked him up and
down. He was pretty sure he hadn't Searched this one, but he never
could tell any more. "Have we met before?"

"I don't think so, I'm Im're," Im're replied.

"R'sedel." The greenrider held out his hand. "Your blue's a handsome
fellow. Eniidith seems quite pleased with him."

"Yeah, well," Im're cleared his throat nervously. "Now that he's full
grown, he's discovered girls."

"And have _you_ discovered girls?" R'sedel asked innocently.

"Not yet, just the boys," Im're only hoped he was not coming through too
strongly, too desperate or just too clumsy.

"I tried a girl once. Trust me, you're not missing anything." Of
course, it had been before he had Impressed Eniidith, though after that
encounter, he was sure he was not destined to ride blue.

"Oh? Now I have to try, just see if you're right," Im're said.

"You should. After all, riding a blue, you'll end up in a bed with one
after a Flight some day. It's pretty much guaranteed. You aught to at
least know where everything goes." R'sedel could definitely tell the
difference between a rider who had experience with a man and one who
didn't. Playing teacher wasn't nearly so pleasant in a Flight.

"I add it to the list of things to do before Gormth starts to chase,"
Im're said. That moment was getting nearer and nearer everyday.

"And how about boys? Much experience there?"

"Some, enough to know what I'm doing," Im're replied. Surprisingly, he
didn't blush this time.

"Well, at least you're half way there," the greenrider chuckled.

"Yeah, I took care of that before I Impressed," Im're replied with a
smile.

"Good thinking. I took care of a great many boys before I Impressed."
R'sedel was none too shy to admit it! He added with a wink, "And a few
_men_ too."

"Well, I only had one. It was good while it lasted," Im're sounded bit
remorseful.

"Oh well, what are you waiting for? Get out there and get it on!"
There was no excuse to be celibate in a Weyr in the greenrider's mind.

"Easy for you to say," Im're said, both uneasy and envious at the same
time.

"Well, yes, it's not that hard," R'sedel shrugged. "You just get
out there, meet people, be open to the fact that they may reject you,
but that's either because they don't know you, they know you too well, or
you just aren't what they're looking for, all things that are not your
fault so you can't take it personally. And a lot of flirting. Flirting
is a must, and so sharding fun!"

"It's the flirting part that gives me most trouble," Im're confessed.

"Oh, now, it's not so hard. Knowing looks, double meanings, a
challenging look in your eye. You can do that, can't you?"

"I don't know," Im're was unsure of himself.

The greenrider nodded towards the young rider's lifemate. "Just take a
few lessons from your blue there. He seems a natural."

"At least one of us is," Im're flashed a smile.

"Oh, well, don't worry. With that pretty smile, I'm sure they'll be
coming to you," R'sedel reassured him.

"Thank's."
