Teseada

Teseada

Galwen looked through the crowd for the young weyrwoman. She had said to
meet him here tonight, at this party. There seemed to be more blue and
green riders here than anything else. Already he had been pinched more than once on the cheek like he was still a cute little weyrbrat. Being short sucked. He reconized some as friends of his da's. But where was Teseada? She had said this party, right? Maybe he was at the wrong place. He sighed nervously, looking around once more and fiddling with the new tunic he was wearing, courtesy of that day when Hanni and T'bel had pounced on him and cut his hair.

"Galwen!" Teseada called out and beckoned him over. "Come and join us."

Oh, thank the shell, there she was, smiling prettily. He swerved around a
group of his da's friends, holding his breath that they didn't see him and tell his da, and came up to Tesada and her friend. F'neb. Shards, he found
himself too shy to look at him.

"You said he was shy," F'neb said softly to Teseada just before Galwen got there.

"Yeah.but he's a good kid, and he needs some help, so play nicely," Teseada said.

"Or what?" he teased back. "You'll get Onnyth to try sitting on me again?"

That made her laugh as Galwen finally joined them. "Glad you could make it," she told him.

"Shards, it's bad though. Almost everyone here is either a friend of my da
or T'bel. One of them is going to make trouble for me." He quickly glanced at F'neb, taking in his sandy hair and light brown eyes. Cute, probably too cute for the likes of him, but Teseada did set this up, so maybe it would be okay. He looked to her with his eyebrows raised.

"Galwen, this is F'neb," Teseada introduced the pair. "He's been a friend of mine for ages."

"Hi..uh...hiya." What exactly was he suppost to say? "Is there anywhere
besides here to get a drink?" Shards knew he needed one.

"I have some ale back in my weyr," F'neb said.

"When don't you?" Teseada said. "Oh, excuse me a moment. I think I see Sedia over there and I need to talk to her."

**That was as subtle as a proddy green** thought Galwen, watching her back
disappear into the crowd with no small desperation. Turning back to the
young man, he said, "so, your weyr then, is it?" He gestured for him to
lead the way.

"Only if you want to," F'neb said with what he hoped was a reassuring smile. "We can just talk first, here where there's no pressure."

"Oh Faranth, there's so many of my da's mates here, there's more pressure!"
Galwen laughed. "And I need that pint, if that's okay." He hoped he wasn't coming over as too pushy, but with so many here it_was_only a matter of time before his father walked through that door and that would spell the end of his evening.

"Well it's this way then." Fortuantely it wasn't far, and F'neb was lucky
enough to have access to his weyr by the tunnels and staircases rather than
having to rely on dragons to get up there. "Not far now," he said as they
rounded the last corner.

Now that Galwen was relieved from being caught out, he had time to think
about why he was really going to F'neb's weyr. He couldn't help it, he
started shivering. When he stood in front of the door, he sighed nervously, waiting for the rider to open the door.

He was a nice looking fellow, F'neb was. Not dark like Galwen, but more dirty blond with a touch of ginger, and with blue eyes. And much taller
than the younger boy. Not that the height difference suprised Galwen.
Outside woman and girls, most people he encountered in the Weyr were taller.

"Come in, don't mind the mess," F'neb grabbed a jumper that had been hastily dumped on a couch. "I think I have a couple of clean mugs here."

Galwen carefully walked through the room, moving a pile of riding straps so
he could sit down. It must be nice to have so much room you could toss your stuff about, he mused. All he had was one locked box to place all his
belongings. Not that he had anything. A couple of pairs of trousers, three shirts, two tunics, winter garb and one tiny and threadworn dragon toy from when he was a child.

"It must be nice not to hear the chorus of snoring Candidates every night,"
he said, watching F'neb.

"Well my Ornigeth snores occasionally," joked F'neb.

"That's only one dragon, not 50 boys! I'd like a dragon snoring close by
that's mine and not my da's and his weyrmate's." His face turned
thoughtful, thinking about it.

"Well there are eggs on the sands, there might just be one there for
you." F'neb passed Galwen a mug of ale. "Told you I had a clean mug or two."

Galwen grinned at that. If there was anyone now who needed a pint badly, it was him. Noting he had quite a lot of ale, Galwen downed half his pint. Looking a bit sheepish, he stated, "I_really_needed that. It's been a crap day."

"I could help you relax, if you want?" F'neb put his own mug down on the
floor. "I know a few good ways."

"Oh..okay," Galwen said nervously.

"Put that mug down," suggested F'neb as he scooted closer. "You might end up unable to hold it," he teased gently.

What did he have in mind? Galwen tensed up as the older lad moved closer.
**Stop it, stupid** he told himself. It wasn't like he didn't know what
would be about to happen. He downed the rest of his pint and complied with
T'neb's wishes.

"See," F'neb reached out a hand, gently placing it on Galwen's shoulder and
starting to massage it through the lad's clothing. "This will, help, you
seem tense. Just relax and let me help you."

"O-okay." He tried to do just that, but it was hard at first. He was so
close he could smell the slight spicy tang of dragon on F'neb's skin.
The blue rider caught a knot in his shoulder. Galwen sighed as it
relaxed under the skilled fingers.

"How does that feel?" asked F'neb as he began to feel the tension easing.

"Nice. Nice, it feels...oh!" Galwen turned a bit and bumped nose first into the other boy. He hadn't realised he was so close.

F'neb seaized the opportunity for a very gentle kiss, barely touching
Galwen's lips. It was enough to show intent, but also with enough that
should he want him to stop, Galwen could pull back.

Galwen laughed nervously as he responded. At least he could tell his mate
Scandril that he'd been kissed, now. He fumbled about a bit, wondering what to do with his hands.

F'neb decided to show him would be easier, he took Galwen's hand in his, and placed it on his body, hoping that he would get the hang of it as he
embraced the idea of just kissing someone. "Enjoy it," he murmured, breaking for air. "Just relax, no pressure."

**Right, no pressure** Galwen thought. Easy for him to say! He'd probably
had turns of experience. All Galwen had was tales from friends and fleeting
glances of others having fun. He began shaking again, even as his hands
shyly explored F'neb's chest and midiff. He was nicely fit under his shirt. Galwen felt a pang, thinking how woefully underwelmed F'neb must feel about him.

"If you want me to stop at any time, just say," F'neb said as he began to
exploer a little through touch.

"Stop? I..erm..." He was too embarrest to say to go on. Was it him or were those glows behind them terribly bright? The last thing he wanted to do was have to show his naked body in the full glare of the glows. Completely confused, he pressed his face against the hollow between the dragonrider's shoulder and neck.

"Relax," F'neb eased back for a moment, just holding him close.

And Galwen did just that. He couldn't control the shaking that ran through
him every few seconds but he could lean into F'neb and enjoy just being
held. He couldn't remember the last time he was just embraced in someone's
arms. That made him realise just how alone in the world he had been, these
last few turns. Shards, he didn't even know who his birthing mother was, or
if she was even still alive. And before meeting Cardella and Teseada he had kept others his age at arm's length. He sighed at his foolishness.

Looking up at F'neb, he muttered, "I'm worse than a Holder girl, eh?" Fed
up with his own shyness, he traced his fingers along F'neb's chest and
lowered his hand to rest on the tall lad's waist, one finger lightly resting just inside his trousers.

"Oh I've met some of them, and they tease you, and torture you in ways you
couldn't imagine," F'neb said with a laugh. "But here it's different,"
sensing that Galwen was perhaps ready to move on a little. He moved his
hands to the fastenings of his shirt, sensing that it might help the younger boy to see him first.

"How's that? I'm pathetic and they've got boys lined up waiting for their
favours?" he teased whilst nervously watching F'neb take his shirt off.

"Because you never have to worry about what anyone thinks, so long as you do your duty to the Weyr." F'neb took Galwen's hands in his. "Trust me, just let things happen naturally."

"Okay." He shut his eyes. F'neb's hands were callosed under his own, no
doubt from the riding straps.

F'neb gently let go, then reached for the fastenings of Galwen's shirt.
"See, this can feel good," he said as he took his time with it.

Galwen fought the urge to cover his chest with his hands. Or to huddle into
a ball. He opened his eyes a peek but then decided it was best to keep them shut after he saw what F'neb was doing. He placed one trembling hand on the back of F'neb's head and slowly stroked his hair, and gasped when F'neb touched on sensitive areas on his stomach.

"See, you've nothing to hide from here."

"Is that so?"

"No, nothing." F'neb decided that his actions would speak louder, and
reached out to gently touch the younger boy's face, then turned it to him
for another kiss.

Galwen surprised himself with his response. He deepened the kiss, wrapping
his arms around F'neb. He laid back on the couch, pulling the larger boy on top of him, still kissing.

Slightly surprised by this, F'neb took a moment to brace himself on his
elbows, not wanting to crush Galwen despite the ardour he seemed to be
showing. "You like this?"

Giggling a bit under his breath, Galwen nodded and blushed. F'neb was
laying fully on him now and it was hard to think clearly. Moving a leg to
one side, he let F'neb lay between his legs. He tried not to
think of how vunerable he felt as he kissed the other boy again. F'neb's
skin felt alive under his hands. He never had lain half naked with another
boy, pressed skin to skin.

F'neb ran one of his hands down Galwen's body, coming to rest just below his hip. His fingers moved in slow circles as he continued kissing. The younger boy moaned softly under his attentions and tugged at his trousers.

F'neb needed no more encouragment than that, finding the buttons that
fastened the waist of his trousers, and then Galwen's, slowly lowering
them...

---+---

So, that was that, then. Galwen laid still, mentally assessing his
condition. He was sore, that he noted with a worried sigh. But he knew he
was going to be sore. All his mates that had already done it had said that. Had he bleed? Mentally feeling about a bit, he wasn't too sure. And F'neb was still laying on top of him so he couldn't sit up to see. Not that he was sure he wanted to. At least the shaking had stopped. That had ended as soon as F'neb had taken his clothes off and had...

He sighed again, thinking of his lost innocence.

"Are you okay?" F'neb asked gently as he eased himself up and rolled onto
his side. He'd tried to be careful, and gentle, but there was always a
chance that he might have inadvertantly moved too fast, been too quick and
caused pain.

"I think so..." Galwen laughed ruefully. To take any blame from the other
boy, he reached out and stroked F'neb's hair alongside his face where the
sweat had beaded onto it. "I mean, I_knew_it was going to hurt. There's no getting around that bit. I just didn't really...know...I guess just how
intense it would all be. Or that it_would_actually feel this good as well.
I mean, how can something feel this incredibly painful and pleasurable all
at the same time?"

"My first time, I had no clue, and I, I got so drunk beforehand," F'neb
laughed softly at the memory. "We didn't even make it to a couch, it was the floor of his weyr and I had a big bruise on my butt afterwards, a rug burn. Plus I thought I had a glow going on and off over my head for days annoucing that I had finally done it."

"Oh dear, a rug burn? I'm sore but it's not over any burns!" He laughed in earnest, "Sorry, I shouldn't laugh. And yeah, I've wondered if you do have this glow stating you've been shagged. I think my mate Sevin had it, but then again, he just gave the game away by walking funny for a week!"

"I think you'll be walking just fine, once you have your energy back."

"Yeah, right now I feel like if I get up I'll just fall into a heap on the
floor." Galwen smiled and hesitently reached up to kiss F'neb.

After the kiss broke, F'neb said, "Stay here tonight if you want."

"You don't mind?" He traced his fingers along F'neb's chest as he asked.

"I'd mind more if you left."

"Okay then," Galwen mummered as his lips followed his fingers on F'neb's
chest, "I think there's a few more things you could teach me."
