Description: Corowal and his Lady visit Amber Hills for a day.

The dragon landed, dispatching two passanger. Corowal offered his hand to help his Lady down from the dragon's back. This was actually their first official visit as a couple. It was nice to get away from Emerald Falls hold for a day.
Having very much enjoyed the flight a-dragonback, Felyna stepped down next to her husband, her small hand laying in his larger one. It was indeed very nice to get away, just the two of them, for the entire day. This was what she was born to do, be the lovely, skilled, intelligent wife of an accomplished Lord Holder.
Gowned appropriately in the colors of her husband's Hold, Felyna put words to her thoughts. "So lovely to be away from the Hold for a day, husband." As she spoke, she turned her attention to the main doors. Someone would have seen the dragon arriving.
And that someone had notified the Lord and Lady of Amber Hills of their arrival. Zathris and Benani appeared but a quick second later. Zathris had his arm linked with Benani's as he escorted her to meet Lord Corowal and his Lady. When they drew closer, Zathris swept a bow, took Felyna's hand and gave it a quick, polite kiss. "Welcome back, Lord Corowal, and a welcome to you as well, Lady Felyna. It is a pleasure to finally meet you." "It's a pleasure to be here, My Lord Zathris, Lady Benani," Corowal said. "The pleasure is ours, Lord Corwal." Benani said warmly as she turned her gaze to Felyna. "I'm so glad you were able to come, I've been looking forward to meeting you."
Felyna returned Benani's gaze with a warm smile of her own. "Thank you, my Lord and Lady. " Felyna turned toward Benani. "I've been looking forward to meeting you as well, Lady Benani." A crinkle of her nose made her want to say to do away with all the Lords and Ladies but propriety won out, if only for the moment.
"Its lovely to be away from our own Hold for the day, and visit your lovely one. I know that Corowal has been here, but I have not. Perhaps a tour before we settle to the 'official' business?" She wanted some time to get to know their hosts, at least for a few minutes. What kind of Lord and Lady were they?
"Of course my Lady, we would be more happy to oblige." Zathris gave his wife a kiss upon her head before he left her to offer his arm to Lady Felyna. "Of course, I'm afraid you'll find much is the same. Perhaps you would like to see the things that make our holds different? A tour of the Vintner Hall is a must, of course. I would highly recommend sampling some of their wines." Zathris grinned over to his wife and winked at her. "I've heard a new batch has ripened that sounds like it might be interesting."
"Tour sounds great. Everytime I visit some hold, all I see is the Lord Holder's office or the conclave-meeting room," Corowal said. "You never really seem to have time for sightseeing."
Tucking her arm through Zathris' gladly, Felyna noted the kiss and the warmth between Zathris and Benani and she pondered it. A love match then? Because Zathris had not been _forced_ to marry for the sake of the Hold? Married before he surprisingly inherited, as it were? She offered Corowal her own wink and smile. "This is a trip for fun, husband, let us definitely do a bit of ..sightseeing.. as you say." She turned that warm smile on Zathris in full force. "I would love to sample your wines, my Lord. The Vintner Hall sounds a perfect place to start."
Corowal gave Felyna an approving, warm look. She was just perfect Lady Holder!
"Then by all means, let us begin there!" A bit of wine sounded good. Lady Felyna seemed pleasant enough and Lord Corowal had proved to be pleasant company at his last visit. "I've been wanting to try that new batch." Zathris admitted with a smile. "I'm sure I can convince them to let us have a bit of it."
"I've an idea Zathris," Benani spoke up, "Why don't we show them the refurbished Tavern first while the covered coach is being readied? It's awful cold out right now for that long walk to the Hall, and I bet Barthella will supply us with a nice basket of goodies to snack on as we sample some of the wines."
"You're the hostess, we will follow your will," Corowal said and flashed Benani one of his charming grins.
"The Tavern? How... delightfully improper!" Felyna laughed, catching sight of that completely irresistable grin. "I can't say I've ever been to any sort of Tavern, but the kitchen girls do go on about it. It must be quite the interesting place!" She leaned conspiratorily close to Zathris. "We can sample the wine there, perhaps.."
Benani gave a soft chuckle. "Oh I don't how _improper_ the Tavern is. It's one of the official taverns of the Vintner Hall, run by a master named Zandreu. It does have beautiful workworking done though, original to the place before it was remodeled a few turns ago."
"The Tavern is actually quite nice." Zathris insisted. He didn't want his friend to get wind of someone calling his Tavern 'improper'. "It's very well kept, and Zandreu runs a pretty tight ship, so to speak."
"Oh I didn't mean to imply it wasn't nice or official. I just ... haven't ever visited one of the Taverns. " She smiled, thinking she would probably never visit one either, without being in the company of her husband. But perhaps she had the wrong idea....Panni often made up stories to amuse her Lady, and perhaps she had been doing just that! "I'm quite interested in seeing it, Lord Zathris. "
"I've been in many Taverns," Corowal admitted "and most of them not the respectable kind. I believe the Vintner hall's tavern is far more classy than them."
"That it is, that it is. You'll like it I'm sure, Lady Felyna. Unfortunately, there are quite a few Taverns than can give the name a foul reputation, but this one helps to dispel the notion that all are like that. Come, come, we'll head to the Hall and pick out some wines and then we'll go to the Tavern for lunch."
After a curious glance at Corowal that said, hmm maybe we'll talk about that later, she turned back to their host. "I'm at your complete service, Lord Zathris." She said, with her most warming smile. "Lunch and some wine would be delightful." They began to walk to the Hall, then, with Felyna going over the entire conversation in her mind as they walked.
