Description: K'sedel and U'das talk about the upcoming Hatching.

Date: month 6, day 15 of Turn 5
"So, how are those eggs looking out? Getting ready to hatch?" U'das asked with a smile when he entered the Weyrleaders office after a knock.
"Soon enough," commented K'sedel as he gestured to a seat opposite his. "My granddaughter is taking her turn out there."
"That's nice. I'll be wishing her luck. My granddaughters are still too young to Stand. And they would probably Stand at the Far Island weyr."
"She's only just old enough," K'sedel said. "We'll see if she gets her green this time."
"Or wait until she is bit older," U'das grinned.
"That might be better, but you know how youngsters are. they want everything now."
"My children all had to wait before they Impressed. It's almost better that way, you can graduate directly to the Fighting Wings," U'das mused.
"Well you never know what might happen when the eggs start to crack."
"So very true. Oh, and before I forget," he dropped a hide to the desk. "Torrent wing's latest numbers."
K'sedel picked it up and dropped it on top of a waiting stack. "I hope these are pretty similar to the last sevenday?"
"Yes. No major changes or severe injuries," U'das replied.
"Then I can look at it in a candlemark or so, if it isn't urgent."
"It isn't. Leave it for tomorrow if you feel like it," the Wingleader shrugged.
"In that case, how about a cup of klah?"
"Sounds good," U'das replied.
"Then lets go and ask those nice ladies in the dining cavern if they'd oblidge a couple of bronzeriders."
"I'm sure they will," U'das said.
