"Don't worry about a thing. This girl's really nice and she'll take
care of you. She's been in your shoes before, so you don't have to be
nervous," the bronzerider assured the young man, steering him around
another corner with the arm around his shoulder.
"Thank's. I really appreciate this. I don't seem to get anything done
on my own," N'mor said and swallowed nervously.
"Oh well, that's gonna change, believe me," U'kaiah chuckled softly.
"You're going to have to finish this one all on your own. Well, without
me, at least."
"Uh-huh," N'mor groaned. The only thing that prevented him from
running away was U'kaiah's presence. He didn't want to apprear
cowardly in front of the older bronzerider.
"Oh don't worry so much," he said, leading N'mor around one more corner
and stopping in front of the first door. "We all went through this and
we all survived. And trust me, a whole new world is about to open up to
you." U'kaiah nodded towards the door. "Go ahead and knock. She's
expecting you."
N'mor swallowed again and knocked the weyr's door. Perhaps he should
have asked more of that brandy.
A woman looking surprisingly young opened the door with a smile. She
looked between the two bronzeriders. "Well, I already know he's
U'kaiah, so you must be N'mor."
"Yes ma'am," N'mor replied nervously. He then, quite suddenly and
belately remembered that his mother still worked as an assistant
headwoman in this weyr. What if she heard about this? His gaze turned
rather wild.
"Whoa there," she smiled, reaching out to take his hand. "I'm not that
bad, am I?"
"Oh don't worry, even you were nervous your first time, Hinli," U'kaiah
smiled, giving the boy a slap on the back to encourage him to walk in
with her.
"Don't worry, N'mor. U'kaiah taught me well." She gave the older
bronzerider a silent look that begged the question - **I wasn't _this_
scared, was I?**
U'kaiah rolled his eyes and shook his head silently. She had been
nervous, but he didn't have to get her a little buzzed before she was
relaxed enough to go through with it. "Go ahead, now. I'll be in my
room when you're finished if you want to stop by for another drink."
What N'mor really wanted at the moment was scream: don't leave me
here, at the top of his lungs. Instead he just gave U'kaiah a pleading
look and followed her in. She did look nice and pretty. "I'm sorry,
I'm never done this before," he mumbled and turned red as a redfruit.
"That's ok, N'mor. I know. U'kaiah told me." She directed him over to
the sofa before turning to give the Wingleader one more uncertain look
but with a resolute nod closed the door behind them. "We all had a
first time."
"I've no clue what to do", N'mor admitted honestly.
"Well, you have done _something_, haven't you? You've at least kissed a
girl, right?" Her tone was gentle, not accusitory as she lead him
deeper into the room.
"Yes, I've kissed a girl" N'mor said. He was rather embarrassed to
discover that at least his _body_ knew what to do.
"Good." She was counting on the fact that his body would overcome his
nervousness as she pulled her shirt over her head and tossed it over a
nearby chair. "Then kiss me now."
N'mor obeyed her bit clumsily. Together with the earlier brandy, the
kiss made his head buzz with most pleasant way.
She guided his hands to touch her as she encouraged him to kiss her with
a bit more courage by leaning into him. At least he hadn't run out in a
panic yet! She was sure that curiosity and pleasure would win out over
nervousness pretty quickly, and as her fingers wandered over him she
could feel that his interest was piqued. Leaning back slightly, Hinli
gave him a pleased smile. "See, I knew you'd be a fast learner," she
murmured, pulling his shirt out of his pants. "Just listen to me and
listen to your own body, and you're going to do just fine."
"Okay," N'mor said, his voice hoarse with lust.
Looping her fingers behind his belt buckle she gently lead him back to
the bedroom, and into a whole new world.
