**Erdenth, can you please ask Zackariath's rider to come and see me please?** K'reyel asked of his bronze.
}: Erdenth's rider want's to see you, :{ Zack relayed the message with lazy tone.
**All right, tell him I'm coming,** U'das replied and coiled the freshly oiled staps. He hung them to the wall and washed the oil off from his hands. In few minutes he was knock the Wearleader's office's door. After all, they were neighbours.
"Come in," called out K'reyel hearing the knock.
"You wanted to see me?" The older bronzerider asked when he stepped inside.
"Just a quick one," K'reyel gestured to a seat opposite his desk. "I wanted to ask how your wing was taking the overall change in leadership."
U'das took the indicated seat. "Pretty calmly. This is hardly the first time for them," he replied. "After all Tabanirth is famous for changing her mate often."
"I hear it was a bit unprecedented her choosining Nikornath three times running."
"It was, Zackariath's twice in running was the previous record," U'das smiled.
"I've been warned not to get too comfortable," K'reyel responded with a grin. "My own wing seem to be settling in," not that there was much change besides the extra hidework as he'd shared a lot of the duties leading them while his father had been Weyrleader.
U'das nodded. "The change really didn't affect Torrent wing, since it's leader didn't change." He wondered if he should tell K'reyel that his succession of his father had created few jokes among the wingriders. He didn't know the younger bronzerider well enough to know how he would take it.
"I want to hold an inter wing drill," said K'reyel. "That was really what I wanted to speak to you about, to see how you felt that your wing would react to the idea."
"A drill is a drill," U'das shrugged slightly. "I don't see why they would take it any differently than ordinary one. Inter-wing drill would certainly be useful."
"Then I'll get one planned for as soon as possible."
"Good. There's a been a while since the last one," U'das said with a faint smile. "We also had inter-weyr drills with Dragonsfalls once, when the Fall over-lapped both weyr's territories. But the Red Star has moved since and so have the Fall-patterns."
"Lets get our riders working together first, then maybe if we can find time, and the Weyrleaders at Dragonsfall are agreeable we could build up to something like that," thought K'reyel aloud.
U'das nodded. "Co-working with neighbours never hurts," he said.
"No it doesn't."
