Some Quality Time

Characters: Ar'lis, Syntara
Description: Ar'lis and Syntara decide to spend some...quality time together
Location: River Bluff Weyr
Date: month 8, day 3 of Turn 3

Syntara walked with an easy stride across the weyrbowl. Her full skirt fluttered in the gentle breeze and the sun warmed her face. Just when she thought he morning couldn't get any better, Ar'lis emerged not too far away.

He was grinning as he approached her. "You're wearing a skirt today! What's gotten into you, hmm?" he teased, wrapping an arm around her waist.

The greenrider beamed. "I'm feeling... feminine today." She kissed him on the cheek. "You seem in a rather good mood yourself."

"I'm always in a good mood, Syntara." He bent his head and kissed her on the lips, letting them linger there for a moment before he brought her closer against him.

"Fine. Be difficult." She huffed. "You're in an _especially_ good mood, then."

He just smiled at her. "Maybe." He bent his head again to nibble at her lower lip. "You haven't come to my bed recently, love. Where've you been, hmm?"

"No where," she lied a little, but went on to a teasing tone before Ar'lis could comment. "But you haven't been to mine, either. Where have _you_
been?"

He waved a hand about. "Here and there." He gave her his best arrogant grin, and a teasing wink followed it. "But I do think you're well overdue for a visit to my weyr again, Syntara."

"Why wait?" Her tone was hardly casual. "Unless you'd like to revist our little cove..."

One bronze brow rose. "Well..." he pretended to really think about it, "my weyr _is_ closer than the cove..."

"All right, have it your way." Syntara slid next to him so that they just barely touched.

"Surely you're not protesting?"

"Of course not," she purred. "Lead the way."

With a groan, Ar'lis collapsed back on the bed and looked up at Syntara.
"Shards, woman..." he growled, moving his hands to hold her hips, keeping her still. "I definitely think you've been away for too long."

Syntara grinned, feeling quite pleased with herself and with Ar'lis. "I definitely agree, but it's not as though you've been lonely." She allowed Ar'lis to hold her a little longer.

"That's the beauty of the Weyr, darling. No one can ever be _lonely_." His fingers gently began to caress her hips.

"Indeed." Her tone was totally unreadable.

"But that doesn't mean that I don't _miss_ certain girls when they're not around as much as I'd like them to be..." his voice trailed off suggestively as he let one hand rove up her belly to her chest.

"I'm here. All you have to do is find me..." She closed her eyes and enjoyed the sensation of his touch.

"Mmm-hmm..." He raised his head, pulling her down so he could kiss her.
"Tell me, love...when does your green next rise, hmm?"

"Easy there, bronzerider." She pulled from his kiss. "You'll have to wait for quite some time for the next one - and who said _you'd_ be the one to catch us?"

He gave her a cocky grin. "Well, why not? We made a good match last time..." He bent his head to her breast. "Wouldn't you agree?"

Syntara smiled seductively, enjoying another one of Ar'lis's great talents. "I would and I'd like to continue enjoying you." She countered his moves with a few of her own.

He growled and rolled her over. "Keep doing that, and you _will_ be enjoying me."

"Then it looks like I'll just have to keep doing it." She wrapped her arms around his neck until there wasn't any space left between them.
