The bronzerider ate quickly and then searched the dining hall. It didn't take long to find who he was looking for. "I have a dilema," N'vanik said as he sat down next to Sarian. "I have a half candlemark free and I need to find some way to fill it."
Sarian stared at him for a few moments, chewing on her lower lip thoughtfully. "I was considering giving you some sort of sarcastic reply making note of how you have ignored me for a very long time, but it has been so long since I had any fun that I'm not going to risk you storming off in a huff. So where do you want to go?"
"Anywhere but my weyr," he answered, sliding a hand around her waist.
"The girl's still there?" Sarian asked as she rose to her feet, abandoning her plate. "Might as well go to my weyr, then."
He bit back a response to her comment. "Sounds good to me." N'vanik followed her out of the dining hall.
Sarian didn't waste time talking, nor did she divert them into any convinenet nooks. After being ignored for as long as she had, she had every intention of getting a nice romp in a comfortable bed. "What's got you so on edge anyway?"
"Just . . . been busy," he told her. "Does it matter?"
"Not really," she admitted. "But some men like it when I pretend I'm interested, you know."
He couldn't help a chuckle at that. "As long as you're interested in my body, right now I don't care about anything else." And her body was the only thing he was after right now. Well, that and her talents.
Sarian laughed as she opened the door to her weyr, trusting N'vanik would close it behind him. She slipped out of her shirt almost before she'd crossed the thresehold into her weyr. "I'm _always_ interested in your body, N'vanik. Don't be silly."
The door was still swinging shut as N'vanik pulled his shirt over his head. "That's what I like to hear." He grabbed her around the waist and pulled her close for a kiss.
Sliding her hands between them, Sarian set to work on the fastenings on his pants. Whatever N'vanik was doing holed up in his weyr with the dragonless girl, obviously he was feeling mighty frustrated. Luckily, frustrated bronzeriders were one of her favorite things.
They made halting progress toward Sarian's bed, clothing tossed aside along the way. N'vanik pushed Sarian down on the covers, his hands and lips finding places he knew she liked being touched.
Sarian squirmed on top of him, gripping his wrists for a moment to still his hands. "So if we only have a half candlemark, we'd better make it count, N'vanik. Tell me... what do you _really_ want?"
He stared up at her. It was hard enough trying to keep his mind on Sarian and not on . . . anyone else, without her asking questions like that. "I just want a quick roll, Sarian. That's all." **And then I can get back to--** he cut that thought off.
"Not very creative," she teased, enjoying herself far too much. He might get annoyed enough to take control of the situation, but she was fairly confident that he wasn't going to be leaving before she had her fun.
"Quick doesn't have to be boring."
He pulled out of her grip and took hold of her wrists instead, easily flipping her and holding her down beneath him. "When have I ever been boring?" N'vanik moved his lower body in a way that he hoped would shut her up.
It had the intended effect, distracting Sarian sufficiently that the thought of teasing him didn't occur to her again. Very little seemed important, in fact, that didn't have to do with the delightful way N'vanik had chosen to relieve his very obvious frustration.
He took a few moments to catch his breath. "See? Fun and excitement for everyone."
"Mmmm," she replied languidly, grinning up at him. "I've missed that."
"So you wouldn't mind if I looked you up again when I have some free time?" he asked with a teasing smile.
"Whenever you want," she replied lazily. "Have Loseth bespeak Ryerth."
"Alright." N'vanik rolled off the bed and began searching for his clothes.
