Description: Kapera asks N'vanik for directions, and ends up getting an invitation to his weyr.
Location: Dragonsfall Weyr
Date: month 13, day 6 of Turn 3
It had only been a day since she'd arrived, so Kapera was still learning her way around Dragonsfall Weyr. She usually hated that kind of situation, but she knew how advantageous it could be right now. After all, she could just stumble into anyone she wanted to, anyone who caught her eye, and pretend to be innocent and lost if she wanted. Later on that pretense wouldn't work, but for now she wanted to enjoy it.
**Ooh. There.** The moving form of a man caught her eye. She looked him over. Tall, muscled, and...ooh, a bronzerider. He looked good, too. This would be fun. So Kapera strolled over there casually, taking her time, looking around, pretending she wasn't entirely sure where she was.
Unfortunately, it had a bit more truth then she'd like to accept.
"Excuse me? Bronzerider?" she asked in her normal low and slightly husky tone. "Do you have a moment?"
He looked at the woman, decided she was attractive. "I guess so." Then N'vanik caught sight of her shoulder knots. **Must be the new goldrider.
Fantastic.** It took an effort not to frown.
"I'm a little bit lost." she said casually. "Care to point me towards the Dining Caverns? I'm a little bit hungry." Yes, very good looking.
She wondered if he'd bed her.
In N'vanik's experience, goldrider plus dining cavern equalled trouble.
But she _was_ attractive . . . "Sure, I can show you the way."
"Thanks." She smiled and walked closer to him. "So, which of those handsome bronzes is yours?"
"The big one," he said with a grin.
"Ah, you're a man of only the best, aren't you?" she asked, clearly checking him out again. Not bad at all. "Do you happen to know the best things in this Weyr?"
"I know a few things." N'vanik gave her an appraising look as well.
Maybe this one wouldn't be so bad.
"Great, maybe you'll share some of them? I prefer the best things."
"I might," he said. "If you can convince me it's worth my time."
She quirked an eyebrow. He was what she was looking for. Definitely.
"I'm very good at convincing." she said in a low voice. "So tell me...what fine things do you prefer? Wines? Foods? Clothing? Or, perhaps...company?"
"I have a bit of a sweet tooth," N'vanik admitted. "But what I prefer most is company." His hand brushed her hip.
"Excellent." she said with a smile. "So who would you say's the best company in the Weyr?"
"That would be me," his smile was cocky. "Although I'm not the best at the _talking_ kind of company."
"Good. Neither am I." She shifted so she was closer to him. "Unless the talking is creative, I much prefer the kind of company where one does things."
**I think I might get along with this one.** N'vanik's hand went to her hip again, but this time it stayed there. "So once I've shown you to the dining cavern, maybe you'd like to see one of the best places around here?"
"I'd like to see all of them." she said with a smile, "so I'd say it sounds perfect for tonight."
"Good. I think you'll enjoy my weyr," he said with a wink. "It has a certain .
. . ambiance to it."
"One of the best weyrs for one of the best bronzeriders- why am I not surprised?" she asked with a grin. "I like your sense of taste more and more."
"Why thank you." He nodded his head towards her. "And you, goldrider, are sounding much too fun to be true."
"Oh, it's all true." she promised with a saucy wink. "When I work, I work hard, but when I play?" It was clear she enjoyed the banter, the promise of later games and thrills. "I play _well_."
N'vanik smiled. "Then I look forward to giving you a proper welcome to Dragonsfall."
She smirked. "And I look forward to receiving it."
