Description: Brennault reports in to Zavek after a fantastic experience.

Date: month 9, day 15 of Turn 10
Brennault was beginning to worry just a little bit. But Marvel was not showing him anything scary. Just an empty kitchen table, but nothing scary. It did not stop him from worrying, and by the third day after his previous letter, he was considering telling Marvel to look around outside the house regardless of the risk that Zaverak might see him.
And it was easy to get distracted during the day. Now that the storm had passed, he was getting a once-in-a-lifetime kind of experience! At least, for someone who did not work there.
That day, he wrote his letter in the morning just before he sent Marvel. Zavek was probably OK. He probably just had a lot of cleanup to do after another storm.

Zavek,
The storm swell went down far enough by yesterday that the ships could return. I never could have imagined how amazing it is to dive underwater. Yesterday, I pulled up exactly three hundred and six weird little shelled slug creatures. They live at the bottom of the lagoon here, and they're full of bright purple goo.
The workers said the work of getting it out of them takes a bit more of a delicate touch than simply squeezing them until they pop, so that part of the work is beyond me.
The holder is sending me out again today for the last time because he says enough of them should have burrowed back into the silt after the storm that it won't be worth sending someone down who doesn't know what they're doing.
Fate willing, I'll be on my way to the Weavers tomorrow, and then I should be free to handle your package. I don't want to promise anything, but I think I can catch a ride once I make it back to the Weyr, and that should cut down on how much longer I have to make you wait.

"... handle your package..." Zavek read the words out loud. He could see exactly the look on Brennault's face when that line was written, a cleverly worded double entendre.
Maybe....
Maybe he had been too hasty, tossing away the other letters without reply.
Still, all of the delays seemed a little too convenient.
The beastcrafter stood, chewing his bottom lip until it was nearly raw. **Write him back? No, don't, you'll look pathetic.... No, no, write him back, you're being silly.**
Finally, Zavek eyed Marvel, jotted down three words, "All is well," and then gave the note for the firelizard to take to Brennault.
