K'sedel

"Weyrleader? was there something you needed?" J'ren wasn't nervous, when U'das had been Weyrleader, they'd often stoped to chat.

"Ah, J'ren. Yes, sit down a moment." K'sedel gave the younger man a smile, willing him to relax a little.

"How is Nikornath today?"

"He's well, and Kenaranth?"

"Chasing and chasing. I can't keep things straight sometimes." he laughed.
"So i guess you could say he's fine."

K'sedel laughed politely. Nikornath was more circumspect these days over who he chose to chase. So he changed the subject. "Did you bring those reports that U'das mentioned he was going to send my way?"

"Yes, sorry there scattered, weyrbrats where racing agian, I was, apparently, a road block."

"It happens."

"I"m pretty sure I never knocked over any bronzeriders. I think I would remember it."

"I'm sure you would."

"What do you think of the new weyrlings?"

"I've not seen many of them yet, other than in passing. Although I have had some reports from the Weyrlingstaff."

"Strikes me as a strong clutch."

"And we need them, believe me."

"That we do, are there any who need some assistance, now rather than later?"

"Not that I'm aware of, but you might speak to J'an about that."

"I will later, I'm just glad their growing."

K'sedel held out a hand for the reports the younger bronzerider was still clutching. "Those the fitness reports?"

"Yes, sir." He handed them over, moentalry abased that he hadn't done so already.

K'sedel flicked through them a moment, before putting them aside on his desk. "These look good," he said. "Please thank U'das for me."

"I will sir, Have a good afternoon."

"You too J'ren."
