"Hey Mils," Naton smiled kindly as he spotted the familiar figure in the
Dining Hall. He'd kept an eye out for the girl all day and was glad he
finally caught her in a moment of spare time. "Mind if I join you? I got
something I'd like to talk to you about."

"Hello, Master Naton. You're welcome to," Milga replied shyly. She was
still feeling awkward around males, as an after effect of being assaulted
and Naton was master now. On the other hand, she knew him well...she just
wasn't always sure how to adress him in given situation.

"Thank you," Naton smiled as he put down his plate. "How have you been
doing, young lady?" He didn't want to impose on her if she was too busy or
stressed from other things.

Milga shrugged a bit. "Okay I guess," she said, pushing her breakfast
around the plate. She was still seeing a mindhealer from the Weyr
regularily.

"You guess?" Naton asked gently. "If you don't want to talk about something
with me, that's perfectly fine, but if you do, please know I want to be
there for you."

"If you want to talk about sex, I'll flee," Milga warned, her face turning
brigh red.

"I have to admit there are many people more qualified to talk to you about
that subject, should you feel the need," Naton smiled.

Milga didn't reply, just stared him uncomfortably.

"Well, anyway," Naton said, eager to change the subject. "I was hoping you
could help me with a problem. If you don't want to, that's perfectly fine,
but I was hoping if you could talk to Veerona for me. I don't know what I
did wrong to upset her so much and I'm afraid if I prod her too much I will
only make matters worse."

"Oh, in that, I can help you. Poor Vee's very confused right now. I do hope
she'll talk to me," Milga replied.

"I hope so, too," Naton sighed. "Thank you Milga, for trying at least,
Jylanya and I are at our wits end."

"No problem. Vee's like little sister to me," Milga admitted.

"You do have a knack with children. You might make a fine teacher one day,"
Naton smiled, omitting for the moment that she was still pretty much a
child herself.

"Thank's," she blushed at the compliment.

Naton smiled at the blush. Such a sweet girl. "I'll talk to you later,
then, Milga. You're a lifesaver."
