I'm posting here because it's not exactly an loa or lia. A friend was diagnosed with cancer and things aren't going well. He also works with my husband so it might mean some major upheaval while he undergoes treatment.

I won't bore you with details, but if I'm flaky, my mind might be elsewhere.

Thanks everyone. It might mean my husband working away all week for the next few years. I'm not too happy about it, but what can you do?

So update — not good unfortunately. He needs more surgery and then possibly chemo. Work is slow going without him, so my husband will be working away for at least 4 months for someone else. It's too hard working for himself, by himself.
