For the love of horses..

OK, you guys are not going to believe this! Got into another horsey accident last night. As I was grooming my horse for lessons in the yard, another horse went a bit crazy and sent him crashing into his buddy to the right.. with me in between. I guess I was lucky once more, because I didn't fall but only broke my wrist. Got a nice cast on and some pretty heavy painkillers. Only real problem is it's my left wrist and I'm a lefty. I'm not putting up an LOA/LIA because I suspect typing (albeit one-handedly) is one of the few of my hobbies I will be able to do the coming weeks. I just might not type very long responses. If anyone else is bored, feel free to shoot some random starters at me!

Ouch, sorry to hear that. One more reason for me to keep a respective distance at horses. And my daughter wants to take up riding. *wince*

Thanks guys! I'm on killer painmeds (thanks to already using so much paracetamol/ibuprofen for the joint issues) and I can take it real easy so I'm doing ok. And luckily we managed to schedule my recasting appointment to just before we're supposed to be leaving on our holiday! Now all I can do is hope everything is still ok on monday so I don't need surgery.
