Is anybody familiar with this tv-series? It started here recently. I've seen the first two episodes.

My list of tv-series that I follow just now:
- True Blood
- Flashforward
- Lost (last season)
- Battlestar Galactica (3rd season).
"The truth is out there but the lies are inside your head." Terry Pratchett

Gabriel Lorca: "I still don't give a damn.  .

Chloe: A list of everyone you've slept with in the past eight weeks.
Lucifer: Right. You'll need a much bigger notepad.

Maze to Lucifer: I'm worried that humans are rubbing of

I love True Blood. Love it. I actually have HBO mostly so I can watch True Blood when it comes out and not have to wait for the season to come out on DVD.

emma

True Blood is one I keep missing.

Lost, Flash Forward and Caprica are the ones I'm watching at the moment - we see them anywhere from 2 days to 2 weeks later than the USA, so please, please put spoiler alerts if you want to talk about them the following day!

I've also discovered Army wives, but I think we are a whole series behind here, so I really do not want spoilers there as they'll spoil it totally.

Eimi

Man, I'm so out of touch with TV shows!  I really only watch Mad Men, the Tudors, and Ghost Hunters!

Noola

I don't have Showtime, so I've only seen seasons 1 and 2 of the Tudors cause that's all Netflix has available for streaming. I've got season 3 in my dvd queue and season 4 saved. I'll see them eventually. LOL I really really liked seasons 1 and 2 though.

Roxanne

I've seen the first season of TrueBlood and liked it. Although a bit too much nakedness for my taste.  Love the books though.

I adore Army Wives, but my husband won't watch it. He says it's not really depictive of real base life. I could care less how realistic it is. He does like watching drop dead diva that comes on after Army Wives.

Other shows I like to watch are --
House
Survivor
CSI
NCIS and NCIS: Los Angeles
Triad:My Personas!

The only thing I find with Army Wives is that it seems a bit too over sentimental in places - but that could just be cultural differences. I mean - the majority of comedy that comes out of the USA I don't find funny, and most of my friends here are the same. There are a few exceptions to that though - Friends was brilliant, and I loved M*A*S*H (once we figured out how to turn the laughter track off on the DVD!)

Eimi

By the way, Emma, you can't say there's no laugh track in British TV...  When I watch Absolutely Fabulous, there's always been a laugh track.  Monty Python too XD

emma

It's a lot less common - and where there is a laughter track, it is usually as a result of having been filmed with an audience rather than someone putting the laughs in when they think something should be funny.

Eimi

Yes, but after the fifteenth take, are they REALLY finding it that funny?  :löl:

Anaria

Bumping this thread because I simply ADORE True Blood.

Who all is watching this season??

Len

Ugh!  Over here we're only on the first season!!!  >.<

Now, which one you would take: Erik or Billy?

Me, gimme Erik!  :love10:

Here in the Third Season and down to the last three episodes. This one keeps me riveted. Oh my is all I can say.

I even have used Alexander Skarsgard (Team Eric all the way) as my pb in another RP.  There he's the Captain of a ship in a Star Trek rp. Oh yes... I get to tell him what to do. hehehe

I have the first two seasons on DVD and go back when the show isn't on the air to watch them over again.  For those of you who are just starting the series you're in for a wonderful ride!!
