What does a guard do?

Hi, I'm new here and I have Gawyan to play. Anyone have errands for a guard? Any damsel in distress? If you just want me to stand in the background then I'll be happy to do just that. Anything to get my feet wet. Maybe something to do with the Guard Captain and the Lord and Lady Holders perhaps.

I have the Headwoman, Zelanka. She can always find something for guard to do. (Like hunting tunnelsnakes or suspected thievery.) Or, she has a son who is also a guard, if you don't mind posting with NPC.

They all sound good to me. I don't mind teaming-up with an npc, Zelanka's son, he and I could go hunting for tunnelsnakes and thieves, maybe wander farther than we should and then get an earful when we make it back. Should be fun.

Hi everyone. I'll finally have some time next week, hopefully. My email is byronic dot hero at rocketmail dot com (its yahoo mail with a different domain name, along with ymail). We can do something connected to Safe and Secure and Blazing Fury. Paula had already sent me a start with Zandan asking for volunteers, but Gawyan is not the type to stand out of the crowd. I'll probably need a few things to get him off the ground. : A buddy among the guards, someone who'd volunteer the two of them. And also, a holdless person and a Green Valley holder/resident, and a victim of the Red Rush Hold fire. There's also the smuggling going on down the river that could be something bigger. Eimi, we could also explore the troublemaker angle, maybe with the love interest character Amanda proposed to me (I don't really see Gawyan as a troublemaker though, unless his peers are).

Hi Clancey. I hope I'm not too late for this – I just had to make sure Gawyan is headed there, which he is with Zandan and maybe Bradel so this actually puts me in position to do this copost
