Two questions

Hello folks, I have two here -- both are vastly different so I couldn't specify more in the title.  Apologies! :D

First one has to do with Dream's End: what is the terrain/geography like in the SMH and DEW territory?  I've scoured the website but haven't unearthed anything, so I'd like to know.  And if you want, I can do a website writeup on terrain and climate since I've studied Geography and have quite a bit of experience writing up the ilk.  *G*

The second is more mundane: Once a Pern month is closed, would I still be able to write posts that are dated in that month?

The name of a Hold - and it's attached Halls - often are an indicator of the area's geography and geology.

Sapphire Meadows Hold is north of the Eastern Barrier Range, on the north side of the end of the XXX River.  The Hold's Runner Station is located on the river, and the men who run the river barges often frequent there.  The Hold itself is half-a-candlemark's ride from the river and Station.

The land on the north side of the river is rich farmland, which drew the Farmcraft Hall to the area.  The Farmcraft Hall is *THE* main Crafthall for the Southern Farmcraft.  

South of the river there is still good farmland, but the land becomes rockier and more hilly until you reach the mountain foothills.  The Hold has a large Minor hold in the foothills that mines both the sapphires that originally attracted the minercraft to the area and copper and iron ore.

Bendigo, Victoria, Australia

Oh - and on the second question.  You can post for a closed month, but it won't be timelined or counted for posting requirements for any rankers involved.

Thanks, Angelina!  I suppose that SMH territory being mostly farmland, that there will be reduced cases of wildcat attacks and suchlike, yes?

Coming from an area where the critters still roam (I stepped out of my yard's fence once as a child to realize I was standing between Mama Bobcat and Baby Bobcat - you *can* climb a fence if you forget the gate's right behind you...)...

I'd have to say it's unlikely in a lot of open fields, unless game has gotten scarce in more wooded areas.
