Returned Member Asking about old Personas

Hi!

I was a member in 2007 and was wondering if it would be possible for me to pick up some of my old personas? If so how would I go about that? I realize new members have to have a post with one persona before having a new one approved so I don't mind picking them back up one at a time.

First up, Welcome back!

It looks like you had the following personae:-
Barli, Riverboat Crew, Elsewhere on Pern
Evaleine, Hold Resident, Amber Hills Hold
Jilynn, Headwoman, Garnet Valley Hold
Nimroy, Hold Resident, Amber Hills Hold
Yara, Junior Journeyman Dolphineer, Dolphin Hall

So, you need to let us know which one you want first. As a returning member, you will have to go through mentorship again until you get your 'pern legs' back ;) that means that you can only have up to three of them back during mentorship, and yes, one at a time.

Have a think, and we'll sort you out with a mentor, and then we can reactivate whichever persona you want and transfer them to your new ID.

Hey Ainsley! Welcome back!

One more note, if you want to be known as just Ainsley and not Ainsley D on the website let me know! We can change your old account info so you can use the name again ;)

Ok, your old name has been set to Ainsley1, so "Ainsley" is now available!

Also, Ainsley, we still have your old name listed as a member here on the forums

if you remember your password, you can log in with just "Ainsley" and I can delete Ainsley D from the member list. Or I THINK I can assign you a new password if you've forgotten it

I'm not 100% sure, but I'm pretty sure. AND that carries the benefit of the marks you already earned with it... though they are all on the website at the moment.

That way you can be Ainsley everywhere

Thanks Clancey! When I tried to log on with my old password (or what I THINK was my old password) I got this error:
It was not possible to convert your password when updating this bulletin board's software. Please request a new password. If you continue to have problems please contact the Board Administrator.

If we can change the password, that's great if not, I don't mind being Ainsley D. Thanks! And thanks for the welcome!

Ainsley, I updated your password and sent an email to ainsleydelaney at yahoo dot com. That was the email on Ainsley D so I figured it was your new one.

great! just make sure you update the password to whatever you want and also your email

I'll delete Ainsley D tomorrow or so
