Timeliner question.

What's the absolutely, most preferred, perfectly correct way of writing NPCs in the post headers.  I see that we're not even required to put the "NPCs:" line in the header, so I'll assume they don't need to be listed there.

Do they need to be noted as NPCs in the "WHO:" line?  Or is the signature block enough for that?

So:
    Who: Tarehg, Greah (NPC)
Or:
      Who: Tarehg, Greah

with NPC notations in the signature like this:

      Tarehg, master dolphineer, DCW-DH
Greah (ONPC), lower caverns worker, DCW
      - Jane, jane@...
I know I chop and change the way I do it, sometime not listing the NPC characters in the "WHO:" line at all but shoving them all in the "NPCs:" line, but if you tell me which right I shall mend my ways from this day forward.

      Promise!

They need to be in both the header and the signature.  You can either put it in the header under the "Who:", or under "NPC:"  Either one works just as long as we know who the principle personas in the post will be, and which ones are NPCs.  So for example:

      Who: P'sona, N'Pic (NPC)

      or

      Who: P'sona
      NPC: N'pic

Both work.  But you also need it in signature as well so we know which writers should be credited with writing them.
