Hello... Hello... Hello!!!!  I am Elaine... I used to play here, and unfortunately dropped off over a year ago (boooo).  But I've finally come back (yayayay)... and it looks like there are even more people to plot with!!!

My Pern roleplay experience includes time at Ridges of Pern, Rockycrater, Triad (of course), and some smaller places from time to time.  Although PBeM was my introduction into roleplaying I truly enjoy tabletop games and am involved in a few Dungeons and Dragons games at the moment (anyone out there know/excited about 4th edition?)... I run a draconic themed campaign that no, has nothing to do with Pern, just my love of dragons.

For work I manage projects to improve collaborative systems.  More interestingly I just got married...in a renaissance wedding that took wayyyy too long to plan... but was totally worth it... huzzah! http://bountifulfeast.weddingannouncer.com/

But back to Triad!!  I played an interesting cast of characters, and most are still available for adoption (which I'm not sure is a good or bad thing, no TLC for these characters?)... so I need help deciding who shall come back first.  Or, if there is a great need for personas somewhere, and none of my previous personas fit the bill, I can create a new one.

Hi Amanda ~waves~ Yes Yes!! It is hard to revive characters...

I have a tendency in my tabletop games to want to bring in new characters when my current one... may have met an unfortunate circumstances.  There are just so many possibilities for personalities, archetypes, and situations.  (And different mechanics but that doesn't apply for PBeM roleplay)

And congrats on the wedding!  I took a look at your album and it looked like lots of fun!  Man, that was recent, eh?  Just like a week or so ago?  Wow!  You couldn't wait until the honeymoon was over to come back to Triad to play, eh?  Can't blame ya ;)

Well... that just shows I have my priorities straight Eimi...
hehehe, in all honesty, I wanted to get the ball rolling sooner then later, I wasn't sure how long it would take me to get up to speed.  And wedding planning was one of the three pillars of doom that has kept me away from Triad... but planning is mostly done now that the wedding is done (just trying to settle accounts now, thanks yous and such).  Thanks for the congrats, it was a blast!!!

Oh hi Vix! ~waves~  *thinks* Rockycrater? *checks website* thats a blast from the past, for me, I must have only started cooping when I was starting to write there... I know I pulled over that K'tu/Tokallya idea from somewhere, but I think I majorly changed the personalities for the Triad implementation.
