I'm NEEWWW!

Hello All,

I'm Kate and I have Junior Journeyman Healer Kaefen at GVH. I've scanned the site for years... yes... years, and finally decided to take the leap and join. And so far... I am so impressed!

Anyways, a little about myself. Well, my name is Kate (Katherine), I'm 19 years old (20 on 5/18) and currently live in Aztec, NM. I recently moved here from Michigan where I went to high school and then to college. I attended the College for Creative Studies in Detroit for 2 years as an Illustration major with a minor in Art History.

Recently, in March, my boyfriend of 2 years proposed and we are planning our wedding for November 17th, 2007. Actually, today a friend of mine, who is one of my bridesmaids, and I drove the 3 hrs to Albq. to find my dress. And it's perfect, and I almost cried. Lol.

But, we are living in New Mexico now and he is working in the oil industry after he finished his 4 years in the Marine Corps and did a 9 mth tour in Fallujah, Iraq. So, we are finally settling down and will soon start our family.

Summer next year, I will start at the Community College here and work towards an Associates in Web and Graphic Design and then, in a few years - once I get my Web and Graphic Design business up and running, I will finish my Bachelor's in Illustration.

Hmmm... what else. Oh, I have 3 dogs. King, an 8 year old Gray Wolf and Siberian Husky mix; Cadence, a 7 month old German Shepard and Black Lab mix and Alaska, (the newest addition) a 13 week old Siberian Husky and Timberwolf mix. And we have one cat, Crazy. To say the least, our house is hectic and our animals are our children.

I love art and draw and paint all the time. Also, if anyone wants... I would be more than happy to do character portraits. PM me if you're interested.

Well, that's about it. I'm very happy to be here and am looking forward to a long future of writing here.

Welcome and I know you're going to have a ball here.

I'm new as well - don't even have my first sona approved yet, so you're one step ahead of me.   Great minds think alike, though, because before Kaefen appeared at GVH I was thinking about creating a healer there.  

My first sona won't be at GVH, but I would love to copost when I have one there or if you need an NPC for a particular plot line, give me a holler.

I'm still the youngest member on Triad but at least I'm not alone on the bottom of the spectrum.  Woot! (Can tell he just had about six packs of reices pieces a chocolate bar and a power drink!
