When I first came to Japan for this job we had an orientation in a posh Tokyo hotel.   A couple of my friends came to meet me one of the nights and take me to a reunion with some of the students I worked with.  Yuki's English was always really good, so I was really shocked when she turned to the guy who came with her and in a rather loud voice asked, "Settchan, are you hung?"  My jaw dropped and a couple heads turned her way.  I asked "Yuki, what did you just say?" and she repeated it quite proudly.  I asked her "Do you know what that means?"  And she shrugged and said, "Yeah, its slang!  It's short for hungry."  I explained to her the true meaning of it, and I swear both of their faces turned red as a tomato.

(May be in Japan it is short for hungry, but everywhere else it sure isn't....:lol:)
