My kind of luck...

Am I the only person that seems to be decidedly unlucky? The weather is one of those things that hates me with a special passion...

By this time today I was supposed have been home with my new kitten in tow. Of course, the snow made it impossible for me to pick her up! A New England winter with very little nasty weather... and of course one of those few bad days ruins my plans.

Like I said, I just have bad luck!

Mikel

Where in New England?  My kids live in Nashua.

In addition to Nashua, I had a few domiciles in Massachusetts

Awwwww!!! The world can't be a truly bad place when there are kittens* in it. Kittens are just so darned cute.

As for the weather.. I feel your pain. I am sick, sick, sick of winter and can't wait to fry my bones in summer sunshine. Man, will that be nice.

All Curmudgeons accept Mikel... j/k!

And I know that was our ONE snow day of the year, and I spent it shoveling.

Eimi

Man, I haven't even SEEN snow in years.... I miss it :(

Dana

I'm sorry to hear that, Anwen!  :(  Do you think you can get your kitten tomorrow?  Or at least this week?

And I miss the snow too...  The Sierra Nevadas are only 6 hours away...I really need to go skiing up in Mammoth Lakes!  But only if we get more storms...

No such luck! It is snowing today too! The breeder is meeting me halfway, and understandably she didn't want to travel in the snow. Of course, classes didn't get canceled, so I still have to go!

Keep your fingers crossed and hope that tomorrow is as nice as it is supposed to be...

What sorta kitten is it?

A tonkinese. Most people have never heard of them, but the breed originated as a mix between siamese and burmese. I don't know yet what color my kitten is going to be, because the breeder has 3 little girls for me to pick from.  :cat:

Uhm, dear?

What you actually want is one of each breed.
