Yet another returning member...

Greetings, y'all!

I'm Alan J Kleipass - you can call me AJ. I first joined Triad in January of 2002 (or there abouts), had a break and came back in 2008, took another break and now I've returned, hoping the third time is the charm. All around those periods I was either in or running other clubs, mostly Pern, but a few original or other fandoms as well - 30+ in total over the past 20 years. But presently none except here. I am technically a lurker, but I suspect that will not last long. I've already been bribed with promises of evil plots and tasty cookies just to get me in the door.

Full Disclosure:
Some of know or remember me from days gone by - the good, the bad, and the regrettably ugly. On all three points I am not the same person today. I'm older, way more mellow and mature, but I also cannot write the way I once did. I suffer from chronic back and neuropathy pain, and the meds I take to suppress that also get in the way of my ability to weave complex stories - or manage multiple plots at once. Therefore, don't expect to see me wielding two dozen personae and 1000s of NPCs like the good ol' days. And if I decline a copost request, it is merely because I am at my limits at present. I promise that I will do my utmost to get around to writing with anyone who wants me to. As for the rest of you, I will track you do and copost with you, too. 

I just ask for your patience and understanding.

Lastly, if there is anything from the bad and ugly past (or the good parts too) that you feel needs addressing, I welcome the discussion. (hopefully that offer sounds way more ominous than any unfinished business truly is).

Welcome back! There's nothing but joy from me here, I am always excited for a returning member. Triad is really generous to returnees - I mean I flaked out and disappeared and I still was allowed to come back! It's what I love about us!
