Pokemon Go?

I have to ask... am I the only giant pokemon nerd here? I downloaded the game a few days ago and it's been a lot of fun. My dog loves how many walks we suddenly have, although it's a good reminder to me that I really need to take her to a training class so that she learns to walk nicely beside me instead of pulling on the leash...

Team Mystic, representing! I kinda wish I had a dog to walk. I hatch my eggs by keepingthe app up when I walk to the bus stop and back to work.

I was an Ingress player before this so I'm trying to juggle my time between cute Pokemon and repping the Enlightened.

lol I've been playing this too and it does help me with my walking challenges. I'm far to sedentary with a job that keeps me at the computer all day. But I do go out now on walks for break and lunch instead of sitting in the office.

All around I like it and while some people seem to be having accidents and such, that is just Darwin at work.  Work on the reachable goals you know... the ones on THIS side of the street.

There have been muggings and even shooting at someone's car while they were playing here. Serious business :o

And here I went down to the lake with my son and we sat in the sunshine right near a pokey stop. When he put down a lure other players showed up and we had a nice chat for a bout 1/2 an hour.

Of course I'm not going to play in the middle of the night or while I'm driving.  I don't plan on running around strange neighborhoods by myself either.  That's just stupid players.

Of course you hear about the bad stuff and the silly ones who run into the street, because that is news!  But what about those people who rarely walk anywhere and are now out and about their own neighborhoods.

Another blue teamer here! Me and both of my kids are hunting for the pokemon. Walked nearly 7 km today, just visiting pokestops for more pokeballs.

Yes, I love Pokemon Go! Over here it is really bringing people together in a good way. The way the whole neighborhood draws out when there's a lure somewhere is magical ^_^

I'm not playing so much with the puppy now, but once she's able to go on longer walks it will be awesome to go hunt Pokemon together, hehe!
