Gretchen

Good evening, ladies and gents!

Thank you for inviting me in, *bows to Suzee* and hopefully my Harper apprentice will be debuting soon. I hope to have my little bookworm and research monkey up for consideration before tomorrow morning. :thumbright:

Suzee

Glad to have you Gretchen! We'd all love to know some more about you too if you want to share.

Don't everyone try and scare her away now **shifty eyes**

Gretchen

Well, I'm married and the mom of a very hyperkinetic 2-year old, and I earn my ducats doing benefits administration.

I spent about eight years staffing a large anime convention, but gave that up. That was a big part of my life when we first got married. I don't think I could deal with it now that they've nearly crested 20k - or passed it? I don't remember the numbers from this past year.

Currently, I spend my off time chasing my son around, playing Guild Wars 2, debating about WWE/WWF history with my husband (we're watching Wrestlemanias from the Attitude era now) collecting comic books (I am a big fan of the Justice Society of America) and playing in tabletop campaigns (currently waiting for the new Exalted edition to come out, yay!) I'm also a history buff!

...why yes. I am a big big geek. But I am not a Doctor Who geek; that's reserved for my husband.

Been a fan of Anne McCaffrey for decades. Not as big a fan of her son's work, but I have to admit that after the original Harper Hall trilogy, I have a soft spot for their team up on Masterharper of Pern.

I'm going to be rolling up a Harper apprentice that plays on my training in library science for my first character. He'll one day be a candidate, but right now  he'll just be bookworm central. "Did you know that in the fifth fall...? I swear it was so exciting! At least to me anyway."

Does that help? :)

Ames

Welcome Gretchen. I have a Harper 'artist' apprentice who would love to meet your new apprentice once she's ready.

Welcome to the club. Glad to have you on board.

Miriah

I wouldn't try to scare her away!

Welcome :)

Hell Gretchen! Welcome to Triad. It's always great to see new faces. :)

Devin

Welcome to Triad, Gretchen!

I started watching wrestling in the late 90's, so I'm familiar with the Attitude era. The Rock, Mankind, Chris Jericho, the Hardy Boyz, the Dudleys, Edge & Christian... good times. :)

Paula

My knowledge of american wrestling in limited to Hulk Hogan (red his biografy, saw few episodes of the reality show of his family life)..

Welcome home Gretchen!  Is that your real name? It's so german.
And if you're interested posting, I seem to have a master harper in the Hall and few NPC's who don't have sheets.

Chelle has Asley, a female printer, at the Harper Hall.

:P And yes, like Becki, I am a HUGE fan of wrastlin (as we say where I be from). Gotta love me some Edge, The Rock, Jericho, Stone Cold, Brett Hart, etc etc etc

Heh.

Welcome to Triad. I think we shall get along fine. And send me some mail if you wanna.

Hi Gretchen!
I'm late to everything (everyone else is use to it) but WELCOME :) Triad is a great, welcoming, friendly place that I am sure you will love. There is always someone ready to write! I've got personas nearly everywhere, and if I don't, I love writing NPCs, so just let me know if I can do anything for you!

PS.
I, also, am a wrestling fan. Shawn Michaels, mmmmm, yes. :)
