Need an RBW Blue-Green Searchrider

Okay, looking for an NPC blue-green searchrider from RBW for a single post...whose up for some posting?? First come first serve!

I have bluerider S'yei..... But er... is "searchrider" a special rank or can any greenrider bluerider do it?

If so, he'd love to!

To answer your question, Heather, not just any blue or green can do be a Searchrider. Some blues and greens are more sensitive than others and receive special training. They also are authorized by the Weyr. So your persona would not be allowed to go OUT on Search unless they were an official Searchrider. They could maybe say they THINK someone might have potential, but as to whether or not their authority would be accepted is another matter. And a rider posing as a Searchrider when they are not would be bad politics and would likely be in trouble with the Weyrleadership if they find out.

yeah rbw doesnt have any official searchriders pc at the moment so chelle will npc whatevers needed.

We went ahead and used an NPC searchrider to get the post finished

okay im confused, if rsedel is a searchrider why is he listed as a wingrider and not a searchrider then? i thought they had to be listed a searchrider to be considered for it since it is a PC rank?

(please educate me?)

there isn't a "Rank" for Searchrider... its "Job" which doesn't show up on the list. I went looking for that one myself the other day.

Well this is good information to know! I thought the same thing as Chelle! LOL, I was like "All wingriders, no Searchriders"
