The current decade...

So, I was looking at an article today (cause I have so much time on my hands to read these last couple days...) and I came across one asking what should we call the current decade...  1980-1989 is the 80s, 1990-1999 is the 90s...  But what should we call 2000-2009?  

Any ideas?

Yes - it's a play on words as it has a double meaning.  Think how much fun you can have asking someone if they were naughty in the noughties ;)

Yeah, but The Naughties sounds a bit too much like the 90s...  And I personally think the 80s were a bit naughtier than this last decade... :drunken:

I personally think just "the Os" (as in the Oh-s)  sounds best.  You know, "back in the Os when I first moved to Japan..."
