It's the first day of september and already people were scraping their car widows this morning. The temperature was zero celsius :kalt: and I was furiously digging out warmer clothes for the children. (My son tried two college shirts before he found one that's sleeves actually reached down to his writs.) :snowman:

Well they said it was the first day of Autumn here too.  Not quite down to freezing yet, but they reckon we'll be down from highs of 18c (64f) to highs of 13(57f) by the end of the week

First day of Spring for us on September 1st.  Got up to 17 degrees C, and was the third fine day in a row after one of the dreariest, wettest winters I can remember.

Eimi

It's the start of typhoon season in Japan.  Don't know how many we'll actually get this year.  The weather's been weird.  It's been a very wet August.

Dana

It's hot and humid here  :p  I can't wait until it gets to be more chilly...I miss my hoodies  :love5:

It hit 101 today.  A friend had a wedding.  After the wedding, we had the reception.

Outside.

I live about an hour maybe an hour and a half from the coast. I was watching the weather channel most of last weekend to see where that storm was going.

The sun is out right now, but we've just had about 24 hours of rain that dropped more or less all of September's expected rainfall on us. I found out just how good I don't look as a drowned rat!

It's pouring and the wind is blowing and the weather will probably get much worse before it gets better. We are experiencing the remnants of Tropical Storm Hanna. As long as electricity and internet service remain intact, I'll be happy!
