Beyond Thumb-twittling

It's a Sunday and I'm at my desk at work since its PTA day... And I have to say, I'm going more than a little nuts just sitting here... So I've been participating in one of my favorite kill-time activities - Six Degrees of Wikipedia.  I take a subject, and just by following six links (and I can't hit the back button at any time), I see just what kind of wild chains of relation I can get.

Today I've been working "Jon Stewart".  So for I have linked him thus:

Yes, I really am THAT bored!  So what do you do (besides the obvious posting!) when you're going more than a little stir-crazy?

I check for posts.  Again.  Again.  And again.  

Okay, well, I do that in between quilting.  Usually I only go stir crazy when my children are sleeping and I try to figure out 'okay, what do I do NOW?'.

I play solitaire on the computer... spider solitaire mostly, with a bit of Freecell thrown in at times.  

Or read.  I've been reading quite alot lately. I'm on Jurassic Park at the moment.

I ended up at my friends house playing Rock Band!  I love that game!  I played it for three hours straight and had to ice my wrist afterwards XD  I'm up to the hard level on some of the songs!  But he will leave in July and I will probably never see Rock Band again... :(

I didn't have any spare time during last weekend: Woke, breakfast, do the weekly cleaning. Go to swimming hall. From swimmin hall to supermarket. After lunch, go out to do gardening (cutting the lawn etc). Eat, trim hubby's hair, go to sauna and then it's time to put kids to bed.

Sunday, woke up 7.00 am, spent half an hour prentending to be sleep when hubby and kids made mother's day breakfast. After breakfast, guess who did the dishes? Yup. Hubby was washing car and kids dissappeared to watch cartoons. Then go to bicycle, have lunch. Go to gym. Went to garden shop, did some planting. Eat. Water the garden while kids play with remote controlled car, fold clean loundy. And then it's high time to try to get the kids to the beds....

I'll paint a little, or clean my apartment (there is ALWAYS something to be cleaned - how can one woman produce so much mess?!), or phone around to see who will go out with me. Sometimes I'll cook, and if I have a tv series I'll watch that. Right now I'm watching 'Band of Brothers' which is good, but can be a little full-on sometimes. I don't have cable (or peasant vision because I have a basement suite) so tv is a treat.

Or I look for online comics to read. Or shop for jewelery I can't afford online! :P

:D  my above reply was what I do when I'm at my desk.  When I'm not at the computer, but still with free time on my hands (I won't say bored because as a mom and wife I'm never bored) I like to make music vids for Stargate.  I also like to work in the yard and am currently in the mid steps of creading a vegetable garden (remember that previous veggie topic?).  I also like to watch movies (mostly sci-fi/fantasy) and cook the odd dessert.
