I was chatting with Mikel when the turn of our conversation inspired me to create this thread.

Everyone complains about commercials, but there really are some cute/funny/cool ones out there! I've got several favorites. One in particular cracks me up every time I see it. It's a Bud Light commercial.

It's the one where the guy and his girl are driving along and they spot a hitchhiker and he says "What do you say, hun, should we stop? He's got Bud Light."

And she's like "He's got an AXE!"

And he's like "I'm sure there's a good reason" and then rolls down the window and is like "Hey buddy, what's with the axe?"

The guy's like "Bottle opener"

So the driver says "See?" and lets him in. Then the announcer talks about Bud Light some and then the scene picks up with the driver saying "Oh, we should stop and get him too, he's got Bud Light."

The guy with the axe is in the back seat and yells "He's got a CHAINSAW!" and the woman looks horrified, as does the guy with the axe, and the camera cuts to the masked behemoth holding a case of Bud Light in one hand and a chainsaw in the other.

So funny!

So, what're your favorite commercials? How about least favorite?

My least favorite commercial is the new Sprint one. Where the announcer asks if you had dreams of a magic screen in your pocket as a kid that could do all these dumb things. I'm always like "No, no I didn't." lol

Another commercial I really like is the new Heiniken one... for their Draught Keg thingie. Where the robot girl has the keg in her chest and kind of dance-moves to the cool music while she taps the keg and then splits into three different girls to drink it. Really awesome commercial.

This is my favorite Japanese commercial.  No English translation necessary.  But after seeing the smile on the housewife's face, you know you want a rodeo boy too ;)

I like one that's been playing in my area, advertising a sale on kids clothes at Target. There's a little girl, maybe third grade or so, who doodles a typical I.S. and R.L in a heart kind of thing on her paper while listening to the teacher, and the doodle disappears. She looks around, and sees it suddenly reappear on the blackboard, so she races over to stand in front of it, looking horrified. Then it disappears and reappears on another wall, and she runs to cover it there, then on a banner and she pulls it down, then shirt, a door, etc. All the time she's running around looking panicked and trying to keep anyone else from seeing it. Then it appears on a cafeteria table in front of a boy with a tray talking to some friends. She sees it, and flings herself on the table, sliding down it in good Hollywood fashion until she stops just short of the boy, who sees the heart she's been trying to cover and smiles at her.

It's has very little to do with sales or clothes, but it's cute.
"Permission to cover my nakedidity, sir?"

Ok, I don't know about the smile on the housewife's face, but watching that guy . . . *shakes head*

It's either a language barrier thing, or my dirty mind. LOL

Ok, not sure if I can find these on youtube.com, but I'll try.

First one, the one I hate is the tongue ad, advertising beer.  Gross, makes me want to up-chuck.

And the favourite right now: Pat Rafter advertising sports socks
