Where's Your Bookmark?

My bookmark is currently in Melanie Rawn's "Sunrunner's Fire." :love5: I tend to use bookmarks, and I always use them when I'm reading a book that's in hardcover.

I use whatever piece of paper is nearby, but I do have a few actual bookmarks. I'm not reading anything in particular at the moment. Too busy with the end of school and all, but I have plans to get book 7 of Harry Potter.

I've been relatively busy of late so I don't have as many bookmarks going as normal. I do use bookmarks, though someone mentioned receipts and I use those too...

I'm reading the Chronicles of Narnia to my daughter (read it many times to myself). Have some bookmarks in my Pern books since joining this club. Re-reading [/i] Bittersweet by J.G. Holland. Husband and I are reading Wild at Heart by John Eldredge. Was re-reading The Screwtape Letters by C.S. Lewis but got distracted - do still have a bookmark there. Have a few bookmarks in my Bible, mostly the minor prophets which I haven't read overly much, and I did just resart the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan. I am looking forward to reading the final Harry Potter when it comes out in July, and my husband and I have this agreement about reading these classics that we have been collecting....

Want to...Mean to...Really think it's a great idea...end up reading a few pages and getting distracted by life!

Same here! I'm going thru Chronicles of Narnia with my son! We finished The Silver Chair last evening. That leaves just the Narnia's Last Battle to be read. After it, maybe we'll tackle the Hobbit.

I last read them when I was teenager and I now see then quite differently than fifteen years ago. I didn't realize back then of how much religious-symbolism they contain.

Currently I am halfway through Philippa Gregory's The Constant Princess which is about Catalina, Infanta of Spain aka Katherine of Aragon. Very good. Katherine is one of my favorite historical figures and I take pride it sharing her English name. :D

I'm also going through George Orwell's 1984 again - for the 7th time. It is easily my favorite book and I never get bored of it... and I recommend it to everyone.

I want to find another biography about Katherine of Aragon and I recently finished a biography of Catherine the Great of Russia (my namesake). Powerful women - my favorite subject.

Also, I don't use bookmarks. When I was in high school/college, I'd be reading 10+ books at once and have numbers written on my hand - so I could remember which page I was on. But, with 2 books going, I can usually remember them.

I'm still plodding away at the HP books -- but ahead of schedule for book 6 release. I've also starting reading Gregory Maguire's Son of a Witch, getting into it slowly since it's been a while (a few months) since I read Wicked.

And I'm still plodding away at the Triad posts -- up to 70 at one point yesterday but made it down to 40. Then Jane posted some more. :confused2:
