Darnit, just when I'd gotten my ducks in a row....

Work has been rocky for the past month or so. Granted, I made a huge mistake a few weeks ago and got myself written up. But hey, I was recovering from being sick, drugged with prescriptions, and wouldn't have been at work if it hadn't been for a guilt trip from my boss about not being there... But I took my licks, fixed it best as I could, and made sure it didn't happen again.

I've been busting my butt since then, and what happens Friday evening? My boss walks in, closes the door and says she's letting me go, because she 'doesn't feel that my priorities are in line with those of the company'.

So I'm job hunting, which is totally not fun. And extremely stressed, because hello! The bills don't stop coming just because the paychecks do!

Well, Cae, I've been written up my share of times (shut up, Mikel!) and that sucks enough. Being let go would be even worse. However, I'm sure the job serch will bring you something even better!  :umarmen:

I used to get written up at my cashiering job if my register was more than $1.50 off at the end of the night. Even if I ended up with extra money. ;)
