I work alot and cannot be on messenging services while at work, but in the evenings Im generally on one or the other.

Yeah, but then I have to transfer *everything* over and that is such a PITA. (Just like Mikel!)

You can save your settings under the AIM menu and import them into everything. It'll save your preferences, your buddy list... everything. In a nice little file. Very handy!
