Emerald Falls Hold

A few questions.

(I'm hampered here by having ... ... discarded ... all Pern stories set after The White Dragon.  Who knew I was going to end up in a post-AIVAS club?)

Is Emerald Falls Hold on the Jordan River?  If so, is it called the Jordan River in Triad?

If I'm thinking of the right river, what's Triad's IC view of ::mumbles:: you know, the place where they set up around AIVAS?  Is it still there?  Active?  Deserted? NPC Active?

So, if this is the right river and I get on one of the riverboats, will I steam past Mt Garben on my right as I head to the sea inlet?

And the riverboats.  Does anybody know much about them?  I'm very interested in navigable rivers and riverboats, I must say.

Thanks   :D

Patrick

Heres a link to the map on the website.  If you hold your cursor over the numbers you see the name.  To answer your first question directly, yes, Emerald Falls is on the Jordan river, or so says the map, though I'm not sure if thats what its called (I'm not writing there... yet!) It says the River in the History.

You'd have to have someone more versed in such places to give you specifics, but I can at least give you a map.

Sorry I can't be more of a help, but hey, maps are cool, and ours is coolest!

As long as I have been at Triad I have never heard any rivers or mountains that were called by AM books.

Jane

Not rivers or individual mountains, no.  But the Sea of Azov gets mentioned and must be a post-AIVAS name.  But if it's not named, can I name it, huh, can I? Can I?

Bree

We'll have to discuss naming convention and get back to you. ;)
