Marks? What are these Marks?

[Bree]

Some of you may notice that we have a new feature on the board... Marks. Marks are given to people who start/reply to topics, and will be expanding soon to be awarded for other contributions to the club. Once we get the system going, you'll be able to spend your marks on nifty things within the club. Those of you who were around a while ago may remember the Member Rewards System... this is the same basic idea, just updated a bit!

Once we have a full list of things that will earn you points, we'll be posting them here. For now, you can earn free points by posting and letting me know in this thread if you encounter any problems or have any questions!

Oh yes, and 10 bonus marks to anyone who finds a bug and replies to it here! :D

Marks are back! Coming soon will be a complete posting of ways you can earn Marks, ways you can spend Marks, and other asorted fun!

Some of you may have noticed that you now have a total marks listing on the forum AND on the website. If you haven't noticed this yet, you can visit your member profile and view your balance there.

A list of how you can earn marks and what you can spend them on is in its final stages of production. For now you can watch your balance creep up.

Because of the dificulty of integrating our website database with our forum database, we're going to keep marks in 2 places. Think of them as your checking and savings account, if you like. ;) If at any point you'd like to transfer your marks from the forum to the website or vice versa, you can do so with a request to the webbies.

If you have any questions, please give a shout!
