DFW Weyrwoman Second Contest

Howdy Triadians!

It's ANOTHER contest!!!

Dragonsfall Weyr is still recovering from the death of their Weyrwoman,
Jaela.  While Corvera has proved herself a capable Weyrwoman and the
Weyr is starting to settle back into a normal routine, one thing is
missing... ANOTHER GOLDRIDER!  That's right, Teseara and Onnyth, while
they are rising up the ranks of weyrlinghood, are in no position to take
over the Queen's Wing when the Weyrwoman eventually clutches.
Dragsonfall needs a Weyrwoman Second!  So its about time we found one
for them...

So, how are we going to find one?  Why, we're gonna have a contest, of
course!  Anyone who is OFF MENTORSHIP and who does not currently have a goldrider ANYWHERE IN FANDOM (this is a very important point!) is
eligible.  So if you've always wanted to have a goldrider, this is your
chance!  (NOTE: Partipation in the Lord Holder contest DOES NOT BAR YOU
FROM THIS CONTEST!  They are completely separate and unrelated.)

This contest will be conducted much like the Egg Contest of last year
(for those of you who were here at the time), except that you will not
have to submit a persona sheet for your goldrider.  Each contestant will
submit a story to goldridercontest@triadweyrs.org on or before May 31st.

4) Read all the posts and vote for your favorite between June 1st and
June 15th and wait for the results!

5) The winner will be invited to write a persona sheet for their new
Weyrwoman Second at that time (again, please do not send in a persona
sheet until you know you have won!)

NO NAMES WILL BE USED DURING THE CONTEST!  When the stories are sent to the list they will be identified only by number and not by the name of the writer.  The name of the writers will be kept secret.  This means
that if you intend to write a story for this contest, YOU SHOULD NOT
TELL ANYONE WHICH STORY IS YOURS!!!  That would be cheating, and you know cheaters never prosper ;)  If it is learned that you discussed
details of your particular story with another member of Triad, you will
be disqualified from this contest as well as whatever other sanctions
the Council decides.

One more point I would like to clarify...

This is supposed to be a post about a golderider who is ALREADY WW2nd and is going about her daily business in her role, a DAY-IN-THE-LIFE-OF-A-WW2nd post if you will.   Since it would be against cannon to put words into other writer's persona's mouths (ie. the current personas of DFW), you should assume she is at a completely random Weyr somewhere.
