Yeah, I'm leaving. :-/ I'm so completely bereft of ideas and so utterly burned out on RPGs in general that it was starting to affect my creativity in other areas, which is hard enough 'cause it's so very, very finite.

Thanks for being part of something wonderful, y'all. I've lasted longer here in Triad than most other online RPGs I was part of, and I honestly think it was 'cause of you. So wings up, everyone, and salute yourselves. :-)

I started collecting "The Lunar Chronicles" by Marissa Meyer recently. I'm two books down, two to go. There's more in the series, but I'm not as interested in 'em; the primary story arc is in "Cinder", "Scarlet", "Cress", and "Winter". So those're the ones I want.

Well, the bricks are hauled.

I think I need a pint of ice cream and a quart of wine, and I think I need to sit on the floor to devour both while watching a tragic action film.

I'm trying to get one of my last ideas out. It's going about as well as the subject header suggests, probably partly 'cause I had a shit day and I'm really tired. That's probably also why I had this imagined conversation.

Me: "This wouldn't be so hard if you weren't being such a bastard."

A'kua: "I wouldn't be such a bastard if you weren't bein' such a bitch to me. You're actin' like I pissed on your frittatas or somethin'."

Me: "Shut up. Just.... shut up."

A'kua: "If I do, the burnout'll get even worse."

Me: "F--k you and the dragon you rode in on for being right."

A'kua: [grins and gives me the bowman salute]

When it doubt, invent a trader caravan and hitch a ride with it.

It's time for me to start writing out some of my characters, so I need help for that. R'ien, Ilyssia, and Nohria are coming to their storyline ends, and I wanna do 'em justice even if it hurts.

Considering how well-protected the Southern Continent was by the time the Ninth Pass came around, I doubt the grubs suffered any population losses other than the usual dips an insect population might naturally go through due to weather, predators, and any possible loss of food sources. That's just my thought, though.

Congrats! Now you're in the home stretch, and it may seem overwhelming, but I know you got this. :-)

Thank you, you two. I feel a little less.... well, guilty for feeling stuck and asking what to do, I guess, hearing your opinions. I'll try some brainstorming first; hopefully I can think of something good. We'll see.
