Looks like fun!  And welcome back!

Awww, thanks y'all!

And congratulations everyone!!!

Kapera.  Still struggling with the loss of her dragon and trying to make a life with a new normal.

This post just really spoke to me.  I loved seeing a perspective from a lower caverns worker who is also a candidate.  Just really well written.

Hey everyone!

Some of y'all might remember me.  I'm Amanda, returning after a 2+ year absence (I was pregnant back then).  I was hoping to come back last year, but then we wound up moving from one state to another. :-/  Anywho, now we're moved, things are sort of settled, and I'm hoping to get back to writing Pern again!

I'll be sending emails shortly!

Mirren, I never received another response.  I should have followed up, I'm sorry!  I'll send what I have!

I have very few posts going on right now.  Would anyone like to post with me?  If so, either email me or leave your email on here.

Sorry this is so late, but I'd love to write with you!  It's best to shot me an email at amanda@triadweyrs.org.

Welcome to the group!

Ugh...we moved away from GoDaddy a while back and this makes me so glad we did.  I, honestly, think it would be better to get a host that has better customer service and is going to take responsibility for their mistakes.

I'd be glad to make some calls and see if I can get something done about this, but I don't know if they'll talk to me since I don't have access to the site and am not on the account.

Considering how the Weyr is run has been seen in the books, I don't think it's an opinion but information generated on descriptions from the books.

As for the other canon issues, I know they were not addressed because they continued to occur time and time again.  I don't think anything should be public, but when I see issues repeated, then it says to me they were never addressed in the first place.

I definitely want everyone to have fun, but I think if the club is going to remain a strict canon, then it should strict canon and that canon enforced all the time, which I have yet to see. :-/  Thus that is the source of my frustration, particularly since some of the canon problems have been specifically with dragons and that really bugs me.  Of all the things that should be strictly enforced, it should be the canon on the dragons.  Does that make sense?

I have to admit, I'm a bit frustrated.  I have seen canon broken time and time again here and nothing is done about it.  Just recently there was something that would have violated the way Weyrs work but that wasn't corrected at all.  Another instance involved dragons themselves in the last year or two, but those weren't addressed either.  If there are consequences, why are they not being enforced?

Speak of which, Jane, we should copost! :-D

See, I like that idea of being 'off screen'.  It's not that they don't exist anymore, you're just focusing on different characters.

We were waiting on you to jump in. *G*  Feel free to interrupt, it's all good.

Hi and welcome!  I'd love to write with you. Do you mind if I asked where you played ten years ago?  I was in other pbems then too.
