Y'gel arrived for his regularly scheduled meeting with the Weyrwoman.
All his records were up to date and in the order she liked to see
them. He had been rather impressed by her organizational skills when
he'd first arrived and by her impressive memory of the facts of any of
his cases.

Cyradis smiled when he arrived. "I have some of that tea you like
today Y'gel, Would you like a cup?"

"I would and thank you," he nodded and took his hides to the
conference table and laid them out where she normally sat.

"Looks like Kreneth is ready to try to fly in the next sevenday," he
started as she turned back with his cup. He took it with a smile of
thanks. "He has healed very quickly. It's that young hide I think."

She chuckled as she sat to take a look at the hides and making some
notes. "And Gronlith?"

"She's doing quite well, Looks like I can take the stitches out in the
next few days, Then it's just a matter of making certain she doesn't
push too hard before its' completely healed."

Cyradis nodded

But before she could speak he continued. "There is something else," he
said slowly.

Her eyes narrowed. "That doesn't sound good."

"No," he said. "It's not actually. I had a visit from Urlene."

"Urlene?" The confusion was evident on her face.

"Yes," he chuckled. "I'd told her of my background as a healer before
Impression and the emphasis in surgery. So she brought a case for me
to consult on.

"I don't think I like where this is going." She said with frown lines forming.

"Nor should you," he said. "I was told there is a bronzerider here who
has an abdominal mass. The healers are looking at a 30 to 40 percent
survival rate for this type of surgery. The greatest danger being an
infection. The opinion I gave her is with the proper team of healers
we could increase
that by 5 to 10 percent. However, if it's the wasting sickness then even
the surgery might not help in the long run."

"So, who is it," she asked.

"That's part of the problem, we don't know. We've only been told he
was given much lower odds by his diagnostician and is refusing
treatment." Y'gel licked his lips. "If this is a senior bronzerider
and he is hiding his illness, this could be a bad thing..."

He didn't really need to tell her that and she waved her hand to stop
him. "Yes," she sat there thinking. "It is the Healer Hall's duty to
keep their patient's information private should they wish it."

"Yes ma'am," he nodded. "It is an excellent policy to protect a
patient's privacy."

She nodded. "It is," she reached up to rub her temples suddenly a huge
headache behind her eyes. She could feel Panitath's worry in the back
of her mind. She had understood their discussion and didn't want one
of her bronzes taken from her. **But it may not be possible to save
him if his will not take treatment**

}:Make him,:{ was her simple answer

**I wish I could dearest, but I don't know who he is,** she answered.

"Ma'am," Y'gel asked. "Do you need a pain reliever?" He _was_ a healer
himself and not just of dragons.

She waved her hand again in the negative. It's not that she said.
"It's Panitath, she's... eggs." Cyradis stood. "And I must go to the
Sands, Thank you for bringing this to me," she said and held out her
hand. "I'll think on it."

"You're very welcome," he said and stepped out of her way as she
bustled from the room.

**Let Loseth's know Panitath has gone to the Sands.**

}:She has already summoned him:{ was Aughashyth's reply.
