It was silly really, Sabia spent most of the day with her fostermother, so why did Uetia get all fidgety and nervous to leave her with the same fostermother for a night? It was high time for her to get out a bit and do something romantic. With Jayonne.

Her live had been all about dragonriding and motherhood that she felt she had neglected him. They had something more than just friendship between them. Yet everytime like things were starting to lead somewhere, stuff happened and they didn't see each other for sevendays. Even if they lived in same Weyr. Or perhaps that was why she was nervous. A finally a change to do something more than just hang around with Jayonne and watch him change diapers.

She gave her hair a final pat, looked herself critically from the mirror and decided it had to do. She hadn't turned miraculously more beautiful or petite. She pulled a flight jacket over her dress and walked out to wait Jayonne. Sirjath was already wearing the straps for passanger..

"Heya!" Out of the shadows Jayonne emerged, his flight jacket thrown over his shoulder. When he reached Uetia he boldly reached over and gave her a kiss. "You look lovely."

"You look handome yourself," Uetia smiled. "Shall we go? I reserved a table for us from the Vintner Hall's Tavern."

"Sounds perfect!" Jayonne stepped up close to Uetia's green. "Hello Sirjath, Reanth sends her greetings." He stroked the green's neck gently.

Sirjath gave him friendly nudge and then crouched to let them mount her. "She actually likes you," Uetia chuckled.

"The feeling is mutual." Jayone grinned and held out his hand to help Uetia mount her green.

After they had mounted and attached themselves to straps, Sirjath launched to the air. After gaining altitude, she received the visual from Uetia and /betweened/. Three heart beat later the re appeared over the Amber Hills Hold. She landed outside the Vintner Hall's Tavern.

"Looks quiet tonight," Jayonne said after they had dismounted and were walking towards the tavern. It was a lovely night out. He took Uetia's hand and tucked it in the crook of his elbow.

"Good, we'll have some privacy," Uetia replied. They entered, got greeted by the staff-member who guided them to a table. There was already a chilled bottle of sparkling wine waiting for them.

Without asking Jayonne pored Uetia a glass first before poring one for himself. "Here's to us." He lifted the glass and tapped it against hers. "It's so nice that things have finally quieted down. It's been too long that we had some time alone." He grinned at her.

"To us!" Uetia replied to the toast. "Perhaps this time we managed to escape them all," she said.

"Indeed."
