so yay new person, hi!^^ i was recruited/dragged in by Leigh M-F, though i was kinda interested on my own...i've only ever read the harper trilogy books, but i really loved it! but i'm in general a huge dragon fan, i love dragons! so happy to be in a setting involving them.

so...this realistic stuff is a bit new to me...XD i'm more of an anime and fantasy fan, i just recently kinda half left a sailor moon forum cause i was unhappy with how everyone formed their own circles and kinda snubbed me and just...blah issues, i need a tissue. :p i was there for a long while, but i may go back eventually. so yeah, HUGE sailor moon nut! and just lots of anime, especially more old school stuff.

i'm a bit like my character in that i do like music, especially singing. i can play a little bit of piano and recently really fell in love with this so cool instrument called a psaltery which makes the most beautiful sounds and is pretty easy to play!

i'm also a big bookworm..mainly like i said fantasy stuff. i'm working on my book collection and increasing it.^^ so...hi! i'd really like to make some new friends here!

Welcome, Setsuna! Don't worry - I haven't read and memorized each and every Pern novel either. ;) You'll pick it up in no time, and if you've read the Harper series then you're good to go. If you ever have questions, don't hesitate to ask!

What other books do you like? I think there's lots of fantasy novel lovers here.

I will definitely ask questions! I'll probably end up buying the books and reading them for better memory retention.

But ohhh other fantasy...well i love Piers Anthony's Xanth series oodles! East, Goose girl and its sequels, Harry Potter, Eragon, Hearts Blood, Guardians of Ga'hool...onwards and onwards XD

And i will definitely eventually need coposters! But for right now,i'd just like a few scenes withLeigh and my mentor when i get one. Get the feel of this...

I'm used to a different style of roleplay. Forum or chat based and with whole storylines rather than a single scene. And much longer posts, a minimum of 100 words...i was a roleplay mod for almost 4 years so weirdly enough, the simplicity of this type intimidates me! I'm so ashamed. XD

I read lot of fantasy, sci fi and such. It just that the selection here back-and-beyond is rather limited and ordering them from net is expensive. Currently reading The Witcher-book (Swallow's Tower) by Andrzej Sapkowski.


And the fruit I was referening to is satsuma , pretty close in spelling and it sounds almost same in my Finnish brains.

And you're right Paula, satsuma and setsuna are remarkably close! But the fruit is chinese while the name is japanese. It's the name of a character named Setsuna Meioh, aka Sailor Pluto from the manga Sailor Moon. It pretty much means timeless or something like that.

and you're a writer? cool!^^ my boyfriend is too. i don't know how you guys do it, i just don't have the patience to write out loong loooong stuff...plus i have trouble with the middle part of a story...beginning and ends i do fine with, connecting them? nope. XD i only dabble in writing for fun, but never anything too serious.

I love Piers Anthony too. Plus I live in Florida so I sort of laugh at the Florida puns. I never really got into Sailor Moon.
