I do for one and have enjoyed some of the stuff I've pulled from the Triad Database but as I saw this today I had to share. I'll be putting some more things up as I have time but man this is great to wrap your head around if you're in that frame of mind.

This is a link to a report in Tableau Public on my account

I'm hoping to beat my last year's amount of 200 posts this year.

Wow! This IS hard to wrap your brain around!

Miriah

Wow...I had 408 last year...

Leigh

I don't really understand this. Is this a record of each member's posting history?

Yes by year

Paula

So, I have about 100 - 200 posts per Year? And Eimi holds the all time record.

Neat visualization! I like it -- although #nerdmoment I'm not 100% sure that it's the best way to display the data... it took me a few moments to figure out what was going on. :) I have tableau installed on my work machine and this makes me excited to poke around with it and take it for a test drive.

Len -- you don't suck!! :P Some people just write more than others. I like your posts.

Avery

If your number makes you down, please don't feel that way. But quantity is just one metric of how you write. If you write fewer posts but all of yours have a lot of soul poured into them, maybe that's way better than having a lot more posts but you don't like your own quality.

Personally I know I sometimes have discipline problems (I can't sit down and make myself put words on the page.) I'm taking mine as a challenge to improve my output this year over last, and as a sign of my progress over time. I did more in 2014 than I did my first time in the club, this is progress towards my personal goals. I hope my 2015 will be better and set a new high bar.

By All means Yvonne, if you have Tableau that information came from our databases just day before yesterday.  If you want me to publish some more metrics for you to play I'm happy to.  I pulled the tables into Access and wrote a couple of quick queries then pulled that into tableau.

Len, please don't feel that way, we love your posting!

As to Eimi the beast 2006, that record is incredible. She had to have had so many posts going on at any one time that she posted at the rate of 15-16 posts every week. That is just amazing.

Chelle

I remember having tons when I first started in 2002. Maybe not quite that many though. Then again, we had more people to post with then with larger membership numbers so it was easier to do more volume since it meant each person had to keep up with less posts. Instead of Paula and I doing 20 posts, I could do three with Julia, 2 with Stevie, 1 with Nici, 3 with Emma, and so on. But yeah, I'd totally do more posts. *hint*

I have never seen a chart like this-- it makes my non-mathematical brain explode, haha!
