It was a mighty 264 posts!  DCW took out the Most Postiest Weyr title with 87 posts; Amber Hills was Most Postiest Hold with 23 posts; the Dolphin Hall beat the other Halls with 9 posts; and among the SWE and minor holds the winner was GVh with 16 posts.

The graphy thingie has a slightly different total (267) because of the way I record the posts in my database ... by location but some posts have more than one location so appear twice.

OMG! Graphs! *nerds out! That's really interesting stuff!

I knew the Weyrs out-posted the Holds, but it's interesting that they get out-posted by that much. :P And I did have a sense that DCW was really, really active of late... interesting.

Devin

DCW is usually very active. It was extra, extra active this time.

I have data for posting by location for 2006 - 2009 and now also 2012 - 2014 and the basic rule is that the quietest Weyr is busier than the busiest Hold and the quietest Hold is busier than the busiest Hall.

 :geek:

I am planning to join my two data sets (when I have a moment) by adding in 2010 and 2011.

That was well past my wildest dreams! Go group!

WOOT WOOT! So proud of DFW & Green Valley =D Let's do it again in AUGUST! (but I mean, proud of everywhere else too... ehem...)

Ames

Neato! Proud of us all!! Awesome posting!! The proud Dolphin Hallmaster applauds our 9 posts and pats all the dolphineers and others on the back :) Hee hee

You're gonna do this every month? I am fascinated to see it all charted out like this.

Other things I've wanted to see if stuff like "how many crafters do we have of each craft"? Or "what is our breakdown of riders by color"? I love this sort of stuff.

Actually some of that stuff can be pulled out of the database and then run through different programs to produce reports.  I've thought about doing this in the past like Jane is doing.

When I saw how much interest there was in this topic, I actually pulled a report of all posts from the website the other day and am in the process of analyzing the information based upon Club dates rather than realtime dates.  Pretty interesting info. I'll post something here once I have it available.

Ha ha ha!  There's always the webbie with the high-tech method.  Me, I just go to each page of the website and count-and-scroll-and-count-and-scroll!  (Little fib there ... for the big pages I copy and paste into Word and search for 'writers:' to get the total posts.)

Now I've been reminded to update for July ...  Posts per Writer for 2014:
