Maybe I'll pay for a premium channel after all

SO as I general rule I loath paying for premium channels on cable TV. However later this year STARZ will be releasing a series adaption of my absolute favorite local author. (She lives in Santa Fe!) The first book and the series it's self are called Outlander. I'm currently re-reading the first novel. The guy they cast for Jamie is _so HOT_ :sunny: :geek:

, of course he would have to be millions would revolt if they did otherwise. So I'm counting.

Emma and I are both longtime DG Outlander fans. I actually got to meet her at DragonCon and got a book signed. WOOT. Anyway, I've been hyping this up on my FB for forever. So yes, I will be getting STARZ or finding someone who has it that will send me the vids.

Ok the fact that you meet her at dragoncon makes me ill, because I've never been, but hey, she was in my hometown and I have six signed by her. oh and my mom and i are helping with a family tree thing that her publishers want but she couldn't care less, she asked for volunteers to help.

Do you mean the books where the woman travels about 200 years back in time and ends up among scots fighting for their freedom and eventually ends up in America? I've read the books in finnish translations.

that's the series - although the first one is called Cross Stitch over here. I think the BBC has some input, so no paying extra for me if they run with it

I have read them all so often, I think I can recite the words more than any of the Pern books.
