Being that I'm fluent in Danish, I saw the name and giggled. Who, I must ask, came up with that name? :grin:

Not being fluent in danish, only in swedish, I can guess.
Danish---Swedish---English
Dyrb? =   dyr   =  Expensive
        dyrbar  = precious, high value
hersker= herde  =  shepherd, herdsman

Sybil, did I get it even close?
"The truth is out there but the lies are inside your head." Terry Pratchett

Gabriel Lorca: "I still don't give a damn.  .

Chloe: A list of everyone you've slept with in the past eight weeks.
Lucifer: Right. You'll need a much bigger notepad.

According to www.babblefish.com which has a translation feature, Dyrbehesker translates as "Beast Master".  Appropriate for the Beastcraft Master.

I'd be interested in knowing how close it really is.

 "Dyrt" is expensive "aj, hvor dyrt den jakke er!" , and hersker is "master". "dyr" is animal, or actually "deer". I ran into a lot of dyr in Denmark... I lived a bit south from a deer park. :grins:

Mikel--once I'm off Mentorship and can straighten things out with my characters, I may very well beg after adopting him. With a name like that, it draws him close to me heart. ;-)
