I don't think anyone else here liked it either.  I think most people hated it.  I liked it.  Of course, I read it years and years after I did the other books, so maybe that's why.

Hey! I thought it was okay, not as good as some but enjoyable reading anyway. The was most irritating was the end-part of the book. (Did she _have to_ place Robinton to Ruatha when Lessa was Searched?)

When canon doesn't match I just go "yuck".  I don't hate the book, but I don't reread it either.

Like I said, when I read it, quite a few years had passed since I had read any of the previous books, so I don't remember.

Yeah, I seem to remember thinking it wasn't bad.  It wasn't a "Skies of Pern" or anything, that's for sure!

It wasn't bad  :)  And yeah, Eimi, it definitely wasn't a "Skies"...although there were parts of "Skies" that I really enjoyed!
