Moving a candidate?

I'd like to transfer Vasha to DFW for the Hatching there, but I'm not sure what the procedure is (both out of character and in character)... especially as DCW has no active Headwoman (what *is* the situation there, anyway? is there just no Headwoman? who's doing the organisation that they'd normally do?).

If someone is not currently holding a rank in a location, unless otherwise stated just assume that it's filled by some NPC persona ;)

OOC:  Just ask permission of the L1 of the location you want them to go to (which is in this case, lucky you, is me, so you have my permission and welcome!)

IC:  You just need to find a good reason for her to transfer.  Perhaps it's her mother that transfers and she wants to go along?  Or her fostermother?  She wants to stand at the DFW Hatching is not good enough of a reason, I'm afraid...  Weyr's aren't in the habit of poaching candidates!  E-mail me and we can work something out.

DCW borrowed other Weyrs' Candidates for their Hatching, and RBW wanted the favor returned. Maybe DFW made a similar arrangement?

That's a good point, Becki!  Though, those were all for older candidates... But maybe DFW isn't so picky ;)  So if we can think of a reason for Vasha to get on that list (since I'm sure they don't want to send ALL their candidates over for the Hatching XD) let's do it!

Well, isn't Vasha studying to be a dragon healer?  Wouldn't that make her very attractive?

DCW wanted older Candidates so they would be ready to join the wings, but DFW might just want their dragonets to have more choice. If Vasha asks, she'll be allowed to go as long as DFW is willing to have her. There probably aren't that many Candidates that want to trade a beach for all that cold!

Oh, and you can assume an NPC headwoman's assistant is filling the headwoman's spot until someone permanent can be found. (Anybody want the job? )

Not necessarily.  Remember, there are lots of candidates at DFW also studying to be a dragonhealer ;)  But of course, DFW would be happy to have another dragonhealer!
