New Rule and a Reminder

Hello Triadians!

First thing, I want to remind everyone that December is a reqs free month as always because of the Holiday season!

Some big events are coming up in the next month or two, what with Candidates at DCW, the wedding at GVH and Turns End/Turns Beginning everywhere! Of course, it is going to be a lot of fun, and we hope that you are plotting and planning and scheming.
The Council thought that with all of these events coming up, perhaps it was time to make a rule about the number of posts a member can send to the list in one day. I know you will all have a lot of posts that you will want to get out, but we would appreciate it if we could all limit ourselves to sending 10 posts or less to the list in one 24-hour period. We have never had a limit before, but we felt with all these events coming up, it was time to address the issue. We have two main reasons why we have decided that creating a limit of 10 posts per person is important. First, the poor timeliners have to add all of your posts to the list. We would like to give them a chance to keep up! Second, some people's inboxes fill up quickly, and if they are not given at least a day to clear out their box, things might start to bounce.

If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to send them to the Council and we will address them.

So, one more time, this is the new rule effective immediately: Members are limited to sending 10 posts to the mailing list in a 24-hour period. This limits only the number of posts one member can send to the list themself. This does not limit the number of posts a member can be named in being sent to the list in a 24-hour period.

Has anybody ever sent 10 posts to the list in a single day?  :drunken:  Or is this just a "let's set the bar here in anticipation of before it happens" thing?
"Who?"
"The poor."
"The poor?"
"Oh, you must meet them. I just know you\'ll like them. Charming people. Of course, they haven\'t got two pennies to rub together, but then, that\'s because they\'re poor."

According to the story listing Amanda did last month, and Eimi has in the past, too.  :geek:

I did 11 and only because a couple of posts were too long to send as one post. :-p

As for you Kurt, you're one to talk Mr. I work in front of a computer all day and then go home to stare at another computer.

Back in the day, I would have been a guilty, guilty party.  I loved to write and hated to send...sometimes I'd sit on 40 or 50 unsent posts until everyone cried at me.  LOL
